Well son of a gun! That’s Rick the goofy fast food Manager from the movie “Falling Down” with Michael Douglas!

Chuck is firm in refusing to call him Bunny, yet proceeds to do it seven times throughout the episode 🐰🙃

I have been watching this for a while now, and I never knew who the announcer real name was until now... Arthur W. Ferguson (Rest in Paradise). He went to the Upper Room in 2016.

Chuck couldn't say what he'd normally say at 3:18 - "We're gonna play Scrabble until somebody gets 3 words right. That player goes onto our Sprint Round for a chance at the jackpot at $5,000. Take a look at the board as we set up for the first game. We're building on the letter O. 9 letters in the word and the clue is "Some women look into it when they have a bun in the oven". Now when you think you know the word, hit your buzzer. Don't forget the pink and blue bonus squares. They're worth money. "Some women look into it when they have a bun in the oven."

Some of the Crossword clues in this episode got Chuck in a real cranky mood. LOL I thought some of them were funny.

14:25: "Well don't write letters, ok, cause it was a bad impression anyway." Oh the Home Viewers will Chuck. LOL Also the writing staff and Gary too because the clues in this episode were bizarre beyond belief. LOL

I'm laughing at the end credits for the staff. Jacqueline Frazier and Greg Murphy have a sense of humor when it came to the writing staff.

The first word of the Bonus Sprint was a dead giveaway. I would have never thought of the second one

The M never comes up in the mix on that second word... makes it a lot tougher to see the solution.

4:20 Didn't we just have a "Bun"--->Microwave clue/answer on a recent upload? I guess the pitfalls of two separate tracks of uploads on the weekends vs. the weekdays.

The Bonus Sprint was VERY hard. I personally would not have passed it. Jacqui Calkin took NBC to the bank with $38,000.

It actually happened 3 times so far in 1989: when Lorri Levin, teen champ Hang, and Jacqui Calkin retired undefeated.

@@richardhernandez4490 don't forget Lauri Irving, who also retired undefeated sometime Summer of 89
