That "wildcamping"spot where you saw the tent is actually part of a campsite lol. Crowden Clough is my favourite kinder scout scramble, I've done it about 20 times over the decades and in every weather going, including ice climbing it (my friend "Adam hempstock" has a video of us ice climbing/scrambling it. Check it out on his channel.) There's 3 routes up the waterfall pitch, the waterfall, the slab to the left of it and a crack/ledge on the far left. Great video👍🏻 the chimney to the right on the final bunch of boulders is fun, and is mentioned in the guide book.

I watch your videos and really enjoy them and I cannot understand why you have such a small number of subscribers. There has to be a reason maybe because you are just not using rubbishy click bate titles. Whatever happens don't stop doing it, you are a lovely couple and genuinely nice 😊

Thank you, appreciate your comments! 😊 To be fair I only have 21 videos up, so I don't think I'm doing too badly, I've noticed the number of subs is starting to shoot up every day at the moment so I guess YT isn't pushing the videos a lot, but it's getting there!

Check out 'Kinder Downfall' on youtube... it's known as the reverse waterfall. With that wind, the water 'travels back' up the waterfall. Both Crowden clough and Kinder were incredibly dry on your climb. Would you believe, In winter, or after heavy rain, your route would of been impossible or you'd be drenched . Also, after prolongled freezing spells, Crowden is a sheer wall of ice which is a great sight

Does the guidebook provide the gpx files?
@ManontheOutside Жыл бұрын
It doesn't, no. I just plot my own GPX routes tbh, or download one by searching.

Which does do you wear scrambling?

Sorry for the late reply. I have various shoes and boots but I tend to wear La Sportiva GTX boots (B0), nice and flexible for scrambling. A bit bulky and heavy though so I'm going to try some of their GTX trail shoes instead.
