Omelettes come out well in those griddle pans. I usually mix up a couple of eggs with cheese, few mushrooms, chopped up pepperami, pour it into at a low heat and close it for a few minutes. Don't need to flip it. Nice, quick, and filling. Bit of brown sauce on top.

Great stuff. With a shower I reckon I'd be happy to do a week in there, hiking, chilling, car-camping, take it anywhere, no hook-up needed, no camp-site fees, self-sufficient... what could be better? Really like the honest, not pretentious and laid back style. Keep it up you're doing brilliant!

Just a suggestion, butter for rounds of bread and butter the outside as well, add cheese and put all four in the grill pan and force closed, turn until brown the swap with middle ones and brown, it gives a really good toasted cheese sandwich albeit more calories 😋 good to have you both back

We do travel a lot further out sometimes, but staying local is sometimes good for testing out the equipment for longer trips.

Thanks! On the upcoming plans, yes, we're looking to go a bit further afield (somewhere into the mountains probably) and maybe spend a couple of nights out. The only major thing we're lacking is a shower but we're thinking of getting one of those portable ones we can carry around for a quick hose down.

Just found your channel and bought the same car a week ago. Love what youve done with it. Quick question - will everything come out so that you would never know the car had been used as a camper? Thinking about the curtain, lights and the rear window shelf unit in particular. Cheers! Hope to see more content from you on future

Thanks, it's a great car, you'll have great fun with it. The curtains are only tied on a couple of o-rings with a length of paracord, so they can be removed in a few seconds. The lights are just clipped on wherever they fit and come straight out. The rear shelf is stuck on with double sided tape - in theory it's a bit harder to remove but it would be easy enough to prise it off if you were say selling the car. I made sure nothing is attached permanently in case I ever sell it on.

Just found you both and loving your content, really make me laugh with your dry humour. I am struggling with black out blinds, did you make your own? I am a newby and still at the not very inspiring car park camps cos too scared to be out in the countryside on my own but I'll get there I am sure. Thank you 🙂I tried to make some blinds out of old exercise mats but they weren't very good. Ended up buying some from eBay, those are the ones I use in the videos. They are not cheap but very good. Available in quite a few colours which is great for blending in with your car/van (which is why I have the grey ones), and reversible too. The fit isn't perfect but I use some tinting tape around the windows to cover any awkward spots. This is them: ebay.us/SWe8Wi

Yeah sorry I should have explained this a bit better, it's Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response , basically relaxing videos with no talking which focus on sounds and sensations, e.g. the sounds of waves crashing on the beach, birds singing, that kind of thing.
