It’s a continual learning process, which is what I think makes it fun! The beauty of so many techniques in junk journaling is that it’s only paper, so not much output if you don’t love the outcome. Have fun learning Susan!

Maybe the next time you make them really look at the finished piece and ask yourself what, specifically, you don’t like. The colors? Patterns? Blend? Balance? Size? Configuration? I think if you pinpoint what you’re dissatisfied with, it will help you make small changes so you can create something you like.

Cori… Please don’t apologize for anything you are willing to teach.. You absolutely are beyond talented at this. Your students are Blessed to have such a giving teacher. I bought one of your ephemera booklets. It is a piece of art! I got the “B”! I have sewed and done crafts since I was a teenager, made my clothes in HS and made my Wedding dress., that my youngest daughter wore in 2014.. was so shocked🤦‍♀️. I have seen a lot durning my journey and one day I would love to have one of your immaculate journals! Just starting this Junk Journal Journey . .. Been glued to KZbin since Christmas. Almost ready to go! You are my absolute favorite! I have watched and liked all the ones you mention as well. 🙌♥️ So Thankful for your sharing! Becky Wilson Maryville Tn.♥️

Any non-permanent markers will work. Just use the marker in the colors you want and stamp.

I love making clusters! I know mixed media types like these are my very favorite! I've been looking for masculine ephemera for masculine cards. These clusters are marvelous for that! Thanks so much for showing! I want to get back into making these. Does your craft room get a little messy when you are in the creating mode? LOL! Mine sure does!!

LOL. It does get a "little" untidy, but I just can't think amidst a mess (my poor students know this all too well) so it never gets too out of hand.

I have so much crafting stuff...and this junk journaling looks like fun. I don’t know what you do with them when you’re done. I don’t think anyone I’ve watched has shown what to do with them Is there a start up video that you would recommend? I love your style. Thanks for sharing!

People use them differently. Many keep them as decorative pieces. More use them as journals to write ideas, thoughts, life happenings, etc. some use them as photo albums and others, like me, use them for a combination of things. I save photos, memorabilia and stories in mine.

OMG 😳 I really need to get on the ball and practice making better looking clusters. I have soooo much paper-crafting stuff. When I look at your clusters they look like little pieces of beautiful art. When I look at mine the look like little pieces of trash 😫

But the beauty of creating them is two-fold; you get more experience with each one you make, so endless opportunity to create something you’re pleased with, and if you make one you don’t love, toss it. It was made from paper scraps!

Thank you Klee! Most of those are from Tracie Fox at LoveJunkJournals on Etsy. I also got a kit from Tina at ShabbyDabbyDoDah... and one other, somewhere.... but the vast majority are from Tracie's shop.

Thank you! I don’t remember the exact title of Gayle’s video, but it has “neutral” in the title and it was shared in the last month or so. Definitely in 2022.
