I wanna see if it's possible to have most of the stuff you'll need to survive all stuffed into a sort of portable base. Like starting out with a large minivan and ending with a massive base on wheels. Since you'll have to explore an open world to get more resources, and I assume to get upgrades as well, it wouldn't be very beneficial to have your base and all your resources in one place. That's what I wanna try to do when survival releases.

I think you would need a permanent location because of farming, but even if that's not a problem, it would still be impractical because when you want to go somewhere with just specific resources you bring everything and waste a lot of fuel

This feel like it’s pulled a load of inspiration from a ton of cool games: The night time mob spawning from minecraft, but with hoard defence like in Fortnite STW, water biomes and a crashed ship which reminds me of Subnautica, tree physics that remind me of Zelda BOTW (as well as the dungeons) This is gonna be awesome

I think I have an idea for a base. Assuming that the farmbots can't survive in the water you could make a floating base. You would have a farm with y'know, vegetables and stuff and you can dock your base in the day and stay off shore in the nights and pick off the farmbots one by one as their path finding will make them stop on the shore and stare at you. I think this or a mobile base with wheels would be the optimal type of base if you're going to play alone. Definitely going to try this.

Did you guys notice at 5:23 on the raft there is a different character other than the regular boy or girl. There is one with brown skin. So there might be more characters. I seen the creator with beards and stuff but it never showed that might might be a little more detailed than just adding stuff onto the old characters.

I believe the left spud Gun is a French fry Shotgun as there is a deep fryer on the top and then there is a cutter on the barrel that would cut them into fries in the one on the right has an extra canister attached to the main canister as you can see in the regular spot gun but that might give it an explosive capability like a grenade launcher and then the middle one is a regular Gatlin gun

@@hzyalpha thats a good one too but automated manufacturing might limited by a mobile base. Id rather build a compound that can pump out blueprinted vehicles, and have the resources readily availabke for developing new designs

Will there be a way and incentive to machinize or automate farming? (thinking sprinklers, automated sowing and harvesting arms in small "greenhouses" and self-propelled farming equipment on large fields) Do the explosive canisters actually store a ressource? Are gas-tanks explosive? Is there player fall-damage? is it averted by being seated? do vehicles take impact damage (pls no)? Is there a light-sensor (or better a clock) to automate your base? how is electricity generated? do you hook up a bearing to a generator as you would with a motor and turn it using wind, water, engines or your hammer? or are the generators 1-block devices? Do engines and motors consume ressources when they are active while their movement is blocked? And what about controllers? since they added bouyancy bolcks will there be aerodynamic blocks? Will there be a tool allowing for free full keyboard binding of buttons and switches? Are the Spudguns "modular" or are there just different versions. Real world potato canons can fire anything you can load them with. Since there is a wide variety of fruit vegetables shown in the trailer: will they too be usable as ammo coming with different velocity/drop, knockback, damage, penetration and special attributes? imagine blinding a farmbot launching a tomato in its face.
