That trailer will pay for itself in short order. I never leave home on a scrap run without mine. Nice work getting it road worthy 😊

I've been on holiday this week. Went for a week away with my lady. I got told off when I started raiding a skip for a load of copper wire, aluminium and brass. Back home now with a bin bag of wire a bit of ali and a hand full of brass for the collection

Great video and I started laughing when you pulled up to get that chain-link fence in your trailer was like 8 feet long and there was about 20 feet of chain-link fence. Keep up the good work. I appreciate you doing what you do and look forward to your videos cause it’s very relaxing just to watch

Thats a nice load, they valves should have some nice chunks of brass inside of them btw i usually take them apart
@boduke4554 ай бұрын
That valve would make a cool side table with a glass top.

one of those fence rods would do well in holding up your router pile going through the center. Nice Friday clip

Ooo, that would be really clever! Much better than throwing them in a heap lol

Soon as i seen that chain linked fencing idea straight away would of been additional sides for your trailor.

They won't take chain-link fence around here cause people steal it. Prob bought yours cause you're a known regular with good history

Most yards will wad up the chainlink and use it to sweep the scrap to the pile

I weld and build cargo bikes and trailers out of good quality scrap metal so you could imagine why I crying inside as you where throwing away that nice rectangular industrial racking and fence hardware. 😭 😉

Hey sir, I think you would really benefit from a portable band saw. I’m invested in the Milwaukee-verse but I have a ridgid portable band saw bc I got it for a great deal with battery & charger. Thanks for the videos.

Should of kept one part of the chainlink with frame, and weld it to the sides of the trailer. Instant 2ft high sides that wouldn't weigh alot.

Nice load ya the trailer needs bigger tires lol

Extra expense. But just a thought after watching you cutting away over possible dry grass. Maybe invest (or scrap up) a fire extinguisher. Just in case.

Share the landscaping please. I thought that the wheels on the bottom of the gate could be repurposed as a trailer dolly. Thanks for the video.

Having a trailer close to the ground is great for loading heavy things. Seems a shame to cut up such a nice rolling gate but how to sell it?

Ahhh, that makes sense. I just don’t see how I’d load one up the way it was, they were like 15ft long

For shame Thub, for shame. You threw out modular pallet shelving? Used stuff is worth like, 80% as much as new stuff, 'cause it just doesn't matter. One of the easiest things to liquidate on Kijiji. Hell there's places that buy it and would've given you something for it so they could re-sell it. It wouldn't be the comments section on KZbin if someone wasn't criticizing every minor mistake you've ever made and what they would've done instead, but, this one stands out as a gaffe. Also, they're beams, could've strung two across your garage and held up trolly or winch.
@thubprint4 ай бұрын
I was wondering what they were! I thought maybe they were load barriers for the back of cube vans, but everybody is selling aluminium ones so I figured they were old and crappy. Had no idea they were for pallet stacking
@MattsAwesomeStuff4 ай бұрын
@thubprint Google "pallet racking identification" or "what type of pallet racking do I have". There's a bunch of styles, they're all similar. There's many companies in town that buy them by the piece. And, easy to sell independently too.
