I'm an electrician and I just bought a wire stripper for my kids to start using when I'm not at home. I've got endless clippings they can strip out to earn their own money if they want it. Don't touch my big wire though lol. I normally take a trailer in every 3 months and get anywhere from 7-14 thousand depending on price it's at 3.80 a lb. People don't realize how much money they are wasting by not picking it up. Good luck y'all but don't be an arse and steal it out of walls.

Adulthood is hard, seems to be a reoccurring issue for several years nows, from not being legal, entering private property without permission, forgetting your wallet, to always running late barley making it to the yard before it closes. Mowers are easy money, even non running the bags alone can sell up to $40, plenty of folks willing to buy for parts and who are more knowledgeable at repairing them would easily given you 25-50 a mower, just to buy one replacement wheel or control cable cost $15+ each from the local store. Same is true on many of the bikes some vintage and brand names will fetch good resale in any condition. You have the room and time to list for sale instead of tossing them in the scrapyard for a dollar in weight.

I go to outfits that refill propane tanks. They are thrilled to give away outdated tanks. I tahe them home and mahe sure they are empty, sometomes they ate half full. I use the propane. I remove the brass stem which is worth about a dollar. The tank ia worth about a quarter. It is not a huge profit maker, but is good for the environment. Sometimes, they are Blue Rhino tanks, which are always expired. I take them to Walmart and swap them for a full one for 20 dollars, I sell them for 30 dollars.

Ball valves are actually pretty easy. Well they were not at first. To get the ball out you'll first need to remove\unthread the end of the body of the valve that is noticeably 2 sections. Once removed set the valve handle or nub if you've already taken the handle off in the off position. You can visually check that it's in the off position looking into valve body. If you can see through its on. See the ball it's off. Secure it in a vise. Then using a punch or anything fairly strong and long enough to reach the ball you just need to knock the ball of the valve handle seat by hammering the ball out of the end you just separated.

And yes our local PD will nail you driving around with any load above the box without straps, and if theres any smalls that can fly out they want a tarp covering everything too! They nail guys driving to the landfill daily… thats all a bummer for you, but it was probably coming some day and could have been worse. Cheers

That's one thing I like about living in the UK. There is a national database of all insured vehicles that the Police can check instantly. They also have instant access to details about whether the vehicle is Taxed and has a current MOT (a full yearly safety inspection). We are only required to carry our driving licence, although if we don't, they can access our photo licence as well.

Where could I sell these components? Do you buy them? Because I have some stocks of old tech from 2010 to 2014 and last check they still work. It's brutally hard to sell them so I would like to pick them parts and sell them that way. It'd be great help for a freelancer like me with no job.

how far out is your court date? I feel like the only ticket they will drop is the forth one for a producing false documents or whatever they called it. not having registration doesn't seem worth fighting if you found out your registration was out of date. The first insurance charge and the unsecured load charge are probably worth fighting but I don't know if anything will change either way.
