What a great video! Thank you for these great tips! I am a frugal person and I hate throwing out leftover pieces. I keep thinking that I will find a way to use them. And now I learned an easy way to put the to good use. I love the towel with the little snow flakes. What a great idea! I am excited to use up some of my stash of leftovers.

PERFECT Demo. Just exactly what I was searching for today. I want to skip the use of my Pazzle Inspiration digital cutter and CUT TO THE CHASE so to speak and use Embossing/Die Cut manual machines for a lot of my work to go quicker and turn on a dime to change my mind or add small little items to designs without having to digitize cut outs around pre-designs or intricate designs to layer. Anyway I have but never used transfer paper and I want to use both iron on and self adhesive vinyls for half a dozen projects in the making. From a simple name on a travel metal drinking bottle so adhesive vinyl and also iron on vinyl for simple hand made tags personalized for a friend who does yarn projects. And since I'm making her a canvas yarn tote I wanted to add her name in a fancy script with iron on vinyl to one of the major outside pocket flaps. I understand the process in my head but I kept hitting a brick wall to get me started and wanted to see someone go through the steps to prevent waste or worse ruined parts of a project such as sewn flap on a pocket so I didn't have to sew another or several times until I get it right working out the details. Your video is precious and really provides me with enough understanding and now a bit more confidence to proceed too. I wasn't figuring out the part to apply the transfer tape then the backing of the tape then the remove the vinyl backing tape and now it all comes together with the use of the transfer tape cover piece that you put back on for part of the technique. WHEW and Thank you thank you thank you so much for this video. You put a lot of thought into it and love it. Virtual hugs to you and Stay safe everyone and make some whimsical fun and pass it on.

Well, it's the regular self-adhesive vinyl sheets. I'm not sure what you mean by regular vinyl

My transfer tape (clear contact paper) always peels part of the paper. I use masking or purple tape, but it's not easy to see since it's not clear. What transfer tape do you use? tyfs!

I think masking tape or purple tape would be really hard to use. I use transfer vinyl from Vivid Vinyl. It works great! -Diana
