Okay, this is brilliant! We are moving in with my mother in order to finish saving for our first home and to help her save for retirement next year so my current scrap space will shrink to a corner in our new bedroom or my mother's front entry way closet! I've been racking my brain about maximizing my new small scrap space and now I've got a solution for my stickers! Thanks for sharing!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!! I started doing my alphas in a binder like that but in sleeves and they would flop around when I picked up the binder and I would pull them out to use and never put them back,never thought of just sticking them down on to the cardstock (thanks for the tip on using manilla folders), I am now going to organise my stickers etc like this, wonderful. Everything you said, I thought I do that, forget I have them, get frustrated when you can't find what you want!! Thank you

Was exciting to see someone passionate about being organized. I have a binder for my embellishments with the division of the subjects inside the binder: Sports, Music, Boys, Girls, Faith, etc.. Any type of Inks and paints etc has its own binder. Die cuts are cataloged. Saves space, prevents duplicate purchases and the best part is it's more likely to be used. A real advantage is that you can store the item where it best meets your needs since the binder is a road map to where the item is stored while showing you what you have available. Thanks for sharing. have a blessed day.

I've used something similar for years. I just use a 3ring binder with page protectors and a piece of cardstock in each one then I put my package of stickers or whatever on both sides of the cardstock. I haven't glued anything down I just drp them in. I guess I don't mind pulling them out and putting them back in.lol. My system is very similar to yours and I agree it works great. I also don't know how it happens, but I pretty much remember where everything is. I got a couple of new ideas. Thanks for sharing!!

I live in a class A RV and I am a crafter. I have a small storage space in my bunk room. I found that a small 7 x 9 3 ring binder works like your large system does. I organize by color and some by theme. I store my letters and numbers in a closed storage bin. I would like to find a system to store other items (lace, ribbon, paper, paints, stains, punches, glue and tools, etc. Love that others have my issues like small spaces.

Love this idea, I too have limited space for my addiction. I am wonder though, what do you do when you have used all the stickers on a page?
@Giddy4Scrapbooking10 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kelly! I just pull the sheet of stickers off of the manila envelope page from my book. Sometimes it pulls some of the page up with the sticker sheet but I'm still able to use it. Worst case, it could pull too much and I would have to throw that one away, but that hasn't actually happened yet. They are so cheap that I'm okay with that though :)

Claire Miller, I wanted to answer your questions but for some reason YT won't let me reply directly to your comment so I'm answering them here: I think you could use the Xyron but it would definitely stick stronger so you might not be able to re-use the manila folder for a new sticker sheet. You might though and I think it is worth trying! The blue pages are manila folders too but they are a thicker type. I got those at Staples with everything else and Staples carries different weight manila folders. After having used both, I think either weight is great and it isn't necessary to spend more money on a thicker weight. I hope that answers everything for you. Thank you so much for the questions - I love to help as much as I can!!!
@clairemiller335010 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Maybe I could do some dots instead ?? But I should try the xyron first ... too bad xyron doesn't make a removable sticker type roll. I don't think they do anyway.

would page protectors work to put the stickers sheets in??? I see why you put it on the manila folder paper ...so you can just pull off the sticker. DUH me. I do have another question, though. Instead of using the ATG gun (I don't have one), do you think a Xyron would work or would they stick too good so you can't get the sticker sheets off?? Also, what are those "blue" pages??? EDIT: I just checked and looks like Xyron does have a removable sticker type roll... it is the hand-held one; not sure that it will work for this but maybe. I do have that somewhere. LOL
@sbrown893710 жыл бұрын
I was looking for a. Adhesive gun like that. Where did you find it ? (if you don't mind my asking?) My little scotch dot roller works great but I use it often and it runs out quickly....; )
@Giddy4Scrapbooking10 жыл бұрын
That is an ATG gun made by Scotch. I got mine off the internet somewhere and I can't remember where but I know you can get them from Michael's, ebay or maybe Scrapbook.com. I think Joann might carry them too. I think I got mine from ebay. I buy the refills on etsy because they are way cheaper than Michael's. Hope that helps!

I went to Staples and couldn't get those same "Better" dividers but they did have similar Better dividers - they just don't have the tab holes all around ... they have fixed tabs on the right and each has one tab lined up from top to bottom. I figure it will work for me. It's been a month and I'm just now thinking about actually doing this. I have had the supplies for a month also. :( But at least I am making headway in my craft room so I can actually do some scrapbooking.

These are some great ideas (from what I saw) however I gave a thumbs down and could not finish the video. It was a poor presentation. Primarily due to unbearable amount of the word "Um". Sorry, I'm not trying to be hurtful. It's just if you want to succeed with these KZbin vids (and I think you could because of the great ideas) , you have got to step up the public presenting skill. Good Luck
