Miss E many blessings for you; thank you so much for your humbleness, that is one of the many qualities you have that's keep you among us. Thanks for sharing, love those papers.

less than 2 minutes in and you've more clearly defined and portrayed what a masterboard is than many 30 minute videos. Thank you so much! another way to get scraps out of a bin or box! And, they can be from any collection - thank you so much.

I just went and reprinted the Christmas Pages and they all print 8.5 x 11. I doubled checked that it is printing 100% If anyone who purchases the kit has a problem they can contact me. It should be good to go! Thank you so much for sharing the kits!! :)

Hello E! It would be great to watch you demonstrate sewing on paper. My areas of confusion is what stitch length is best for straight stitch and then for zig zag. And I guess the other setting is the stitch tension. Love watching you work!

I have bought and printed Cara's Song of Autumn and Field and Forest. They are so much prettier in person than in video. Gorgeous. I'm not much of a Christmas journal maker but I'm going to have to go get her Christmas one now. Lol the colors are so beautiful and can be used not just for Christmas. 😁 Edith, you're amazing to use your channel to help others. Love watching your videos. 😍

I think you did a fabulous job. They turned out so cute. This kit is so wonderful. But when I am going to back something. I glue it down first. That way I only have to cut it out once.

I call those foggy moments a senior moment! 🙂 I like Cara’s degis. a lot! I will get at least the Christmas pack. I love the tags and backings for journaling that you used. Her papers are perfect for writing on too. The stitching finishes the creations. I have to start creating tags and ephemera for my Christmas journals...just in a slump right now...I love watching you create. It always amazes me how wonderful you put things together! Have a great rest of the week. Xx

I’m glad you mentioned what happens when you use a regular trimmer for thin paper cutting. I’ve had that same issue and was wondering if I was doing something wrong. I will eventually be in the market for a new cutter, so it’s good to know about the rotary type. Thanks.

Great papers! Do you ever have trouble gluing things to the slick surface of packaging or catalog pages? Does the glue stick well? I've seen other people sand it slightly or use gesso, etc to make the surface less slick.
@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS4 жыл бұрын
I do not have problems gluing in the slick surfaces. But now I also use our glue stick which is made for photo paper and I also sew.

The tacky cheese cloth is used when putting up dry wall. You install the drywall, then you smear on drywall mud (it helps fill in holes or seams). Next you sand down the mud. You continue to add mud and sand until the mud fills the space - sometimes once, sometimes thrice. After sanding, there's quite a bit of dust, which paint won't stick to very well. Well, this tacky cheese cloth solves that! You just wipe down the wall or wherever you sanded, and voila! Clean surface to paint!

Sometimes when the printer screws up, the results can never be repeated, take what you get, the results are unique, use templates to cut out some really nice tags..... (Sandi )

HI, Edith, I own a brother snc ... you do not need a black line around images, the newer dx models recognize the outside of an image and cut it perfectly. BUY the SNC Dx225 worth every dime!

can you help me to understand something? Why do so many journal makers repeatedly cut things with a scissors and have to recut because they are crooked. It just makes more sense to me that a cutter be used. Whether it is a goilluoteen(bad spelling) or an in line cutter....Just doesn't make sense to me, labor wise or quality wise!
