I love your granddaughters stickers, so cute! I think I just bought her out! I worked at Mc Donald’s to buy my first car. I had to do a ton of babysitting to afford my 10 speed bike to ride to work until I had saved up enough for the car. I wish she had more stickers, I would have bought all of them to help her. She has my prayers to help her get there too! 😊🙏🏻🤗💕

Another great idea using junk mail. We were taught to work for what we had, too, being raised by a single mother, you know you're only gonna get the basics. Glad your grands appreciate hard work and the value of others. You don't see much of that anymore. It's sad.

One of my daughters was a manager at a Dairy Queen at 16 yrs old. She had bought 3 cars before she was 19 yrs old. She quit college to help her husband through his training to be in law enforcement. She had a special needs child that required around the clock constant care and could not walk or talk that led her to open her own home daycare. Shortly before we lost my grandchild she started back to college and became a nurse. No was not an answer or option of any kind for her! She is now a school nurse in a small town that has three or four schools. Her husband had started working for a company that did feed and seed and long harvest hours. See you later became a full-time pastor of two churches, now serves one, and continuously stays at the feed and seed and harvest as well. They are very involved in youth groups and their children are very involved in sports including two that they have adopted.

Hello Edith! It is still so hot here in NW Kansas! I have been to Branson/Silver Dollar City. It is do fun! The smell of burning wood in SDC is so amazing! I too worry as I get ready to go places. I think it's normal as we get older and just require more to get thru our day... But, just enjoy the time with your family. It is important! Safe travels!☺️

I went to Branson but it was over 50 years ago when my son was a baby so I’m sure I’d never recognize it. I fall asleep when watching tutorials sometimes myself because I don’t sleep well at night & get up very early! I don’t travel well at all, I get very anxious & I guess that’s why I never go anywhere! Lace is always pretty on something. Those are cute. Have fun & stay safe while traveling! 🙏🏻❤️

My doctor put me on Vitamin D3 - 50,000 IUS once a week and it really cut down my allergies. You can order it on line, easy to get. It helps like vitamin C would if I could take it, allergic to C but D3 is ok, helps us mature ladies build our bodies and fight allergies and colds, etc.

Don’t feel too bad about forgetfulness, sadness, brain fog or fatigue. It is called Widows Brain and yes it really is a thing! It occurs when we lose a spouse and can last up to a year. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if it lasts longer. So please friends out there…and I think you can be counted on…to give ME some grace, maybe lots of grace until she is able to find her way out of this storm her life has become. I’ve never been to Branson. Maybe a change of scenery will help. Drive carefully and enjoy your time away!

They have so many varieties of cheeses; plus jams, pickles, popcorn, and much more. Their cheese curds are my favorite.
