Ignore nasty, bitter people. For me personally, I say "thank you" for helping me and others through this difficult time. You and other crafters have helped fill many lonely hours with beautiful tutorials and beautiful ideas to motivate those of us having a difficult time of it. So ... ignore THEM. And thank you again.

I saw your original video and that's why I followed you. I don't care about pronunciations as I'm an Army brat and have heard people saying Adesive, not adhesive, acrost, not across, ok, I can cringe at that but you can cringe at mine. I don't do nasty. I am so grateful for all of you who put yourself out there and take the time to give us great ideas at your expense! So pound sand to the haters. Love you ChrystalAnn!!!!

Big tip: I use foam pieces for so much and especially sealing something because it never streaks. I often use it for painting too. Depends what it is. I’ve used it for 30 yrs. Love it. Just dip it or squeeze a little on project and thinned out a little in the bottle if too thick. Then dab it all over and voila no streaks!

If you would’ve used a laser printer all that ink wouldn’t have done that. If you need to use inkjet, you need to put some spray adhesive on it vand then bake at 175-200 degrees for 15-20 min. Then mod poster to wood. Let dry without heat gun. Then wet and rub. The outcome will be wayyyyyyyy better.

Thanks for being so clear and specific about things like the paper and printer's! Very helpful:) I'm planning on transferring a photo onto a box that'll be used to hold dice. I want to use a sealer that'll have a good hand-feel, since it'll be touched from time to time. I've seen the Krylon sprays in stores, would those be good to use? Or do they tend to feel strange?

I used the regular matte Mod podge and regular pictures printed from Wal-mart. It took just a little bit longer to take off the paper. I had to use an exacto knife and peel off the first layer, then wet the actual ppaer down. Next I slow peeled the rest of the photo up the picture looked milky. I took a wet rag and rubbed it off a couple of times and the milky look went away and then the photo crack for more of an antique look. Do you have any suggestions about the milkey look? Did we use too much mod podge? Never the less they turn out good for what we are doing and the color wasn't after washing them off.

I have a couple questions. You said in your video that you scale your copied picture to 55% , but didn't say from what original size you're scaling it from. I'm assuming you started with an 8 X 10 photo ? Are you scaling it down right on your printer or are you scanning it to your computer , saving it, and then using a program such as Paint or PhotoShop to scale it down to 55% to save it resized and print with ? I would think that your scale down percentage depends on how big you you want it to be, or, the wood size you are going to use. Is this correct ? Of course 8 1/2" by 11" is the standard size of printer paper . Also: Have you tried using a spray can of Mod Podge for the initial coat on the picture, making sure you spray it with a good coat, then applying the picture to the wood ? Then by using the spray can again for your final finish coat, might eliminate the streaks that you end up with from using a foam brush for applying the Mod Podge. You can spray as many final coats as you want . Have you tried it ?
