18:55 looks like the two spot welds / pins above the left side of the lower controler arm it looks like the subframe or whatever was pulled down. Shame that car was messed up those are gorgeous. Looks to be a relatively "easy" fix those if you have the pockets for it.

It actually does. A person who is a good driver but never drove a mid engine or rear mounted engine will easly push the car over the edge and not be able to correct it right. However if you have enough money to buy these cars you also probably have enough to pay for the motorcourse or be able to track the car often so money does buy you skill really.

The carbon buckets in a GT3 are annoying. They’re stiff and on any trip over 1 hour will become uncomfortable. I had them on my first 2 and my last one I got the 4 way standard seats

That isn't the ABS module on the STO, that is the end of the front or rear frame that connects to the impact bar

That's not the wrong seats on the GT3 ! GT3 with a MT goes with that seats because you have the GT3RS with PDK and that's the one you get with bucket seats ! GT3 is the one you drive everyday and the RS is the one you race !

you didnt mention it in the video - but im an auto damage appraiser and can lend some insight there is a formula called "BEA" (break even analysis or "total loss formula) for totaling a vehicle, and since that STO will have INSANE auction value with the damage to it, it wouldn't take that much to "declare it" a total loss, if the customer agrees if you're not in a BEA state. and CA is a BEA state, which means: the state wants you to mark it a total loss the moment the cost of repairs exceed the ACV of the veh - the predicted auction value. so these exotics with "minimal" damage are almost always totaled on BEA either cuz the state requires it, or the owner doesnt want the car anymore after the accident.

Bro, you need to get a 360 Degree Camera, such as one of the Insta360 One X Variants and mount it to a Selfie Stick...you'd be able to stick the Selfie Stick with the Camera attached into some of those openings and be able to View everything in 360 Degrees on the App on your Phone. You can also take 360 Degree Pics and Video.

@@scraplifegarage There's a learning curve to the Editing process, but it's not horrible, and that is if you'd use it to actually make and publish videos. But for getting into areas you can't normally see, for example under the vehicle, inside a Hood that you can't open, etc it would be awesome to be able to see a live 360 degree image on your phone or take a 360 degree pic.

If someone was willing to consider a rehabbed salvage title car as a track car, where would they look? How much of a discount is possible for something that is still structurally sound for track driving? Would love to see a video on these topics.

Lot of these cars are good opportunities. Flood damage, minimal damaged cars. Buy them for 30-50k. Fix for 15-20k. Sell for 150k. Very good way to make money.

The great thing about buying wrecked or written off R8s, is they can be very cheap to fix. A lot of oem Volkswagen Parts are the same parts just way cheaper. That Ferrari is not worth fixing, it’s gonna cost at least $100,000 fix. And you’ll be lucky to even get a rebuilt or salvaged title, if you do the car won’t be worth more than $100,000 - $160,000.

Those R8s tend to crack where the shock tower meets the firewall from what I've seen. They can be welded up and reinforced. Seems so many people buy these cars new but have no idea how to handle that many horses. I wanted to see that Merc in front of the blue Porsche. 😫 maybe an SLR?

SECRET Supercar Warehouse 1-4-23 L.A. is such a long drive to look at cars you might not even buy. Kind of hurts my head to think about the drive down there. I have taken that trip to L.A. in my ’86 RestoMod-Outlaw Porsche and when you get outside of Bakersfield on I-5 the the freeway turns into a Super Speed Way but some real shitty freeway asphalt. Chunks of asphalt missing in the road...really! You have to be so ON when driving so you don’t hit these chuck holes. The first lane is usually 90 m.p.h. and up, (I never say any CHP on the road) and the far right slow lane about 70 m.p.h. . These are true speeds except when there is fog which is the Fall and part of Winter and then you sometimes can’t see two cars in front of you. -STO Lambo - Like a highest paid female escort. So beautiful, so hot and YOU know the ride would be a life time experience. I would rather have the woman than the car for 2-3 days. I know this is a little or way off topic but I am being real and I think there are a few guys out THERE that think the same. O.K. moving on very quickly. When I was up at Portland International Raceway in Portland, OR (PIR) last year there was only McLaren and it ate all the Porsche GTs and everything else - JUST blew past them on the corners and the straight. And the owner was so humble and such a nice person when I talked with him. Not a bag of hot donkey gas. WHAT, WHAT You said, “We all know about backward facing Go Pros don’t we”. NO WE DON’T. What is it. - 570 orange Webber bar-b-q No bueno -2014 V10R8 I moved on not interested in this brand - Ferrari yellow car moving on to the next car not interested -992GT.
