Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

2 idea if u may. 1.) Make a vehicle of your choosing but it must be held together by detachable blocks. Maybe linked to a randomizer. And have a EMP fight. Player that falls apart to the point where they can't move or fight loses. 2.) Pipes float. Make a boat structure completely out of pipes (mechanical pieces and weapons excluded). Weapon for fight is your choice. Maybe regular blasters and simply chip away all the pipes?

Missed the opportunity to hook up the right mouse button to the transformation. Also, I believe the way Scrapman's car-glider wing unfolds helps with it getting in the air (although if the tilting forward motion was more in line with the folding out motion, that might be even better), whereas the Yzuei's car-glider unfolds its wings act against it getting off the ground. Great video as always!

their wings I believe fold out the same way just at different speeds, its just that yzuei doesnt have enough lift in the front or in general & also doesnt have enough pitch in the back due to him trying to make it look like an F1. He also has the dowforce thingy in the front which doesnt prvoide any downforce but does provide some weird drag physics.

He also very weirdly decided that, amongst all his other flaws, his gun would be aimed vertically by his vehicles pitch, which is obviously a horrendous idea for a glider since pitching up always means that you're losing velocity. He really goes in too much on trying to make his vehicles look nice most of the time.

Possible idea: Guns on Aiming Servos must be oriented so Aiming Servo points forward but gun points backwards, so you have to aim your Mouse in the opposite direction from intended firing direction to fire at direction ya intend to. Might be best done with lower max speed vehicles since getting hits on your opponent won't be easy. Maybe max top speed, roughly Monster Truck Wheels speed?

VIDEO IDEA: Do a simple fly by wire system. That means control surface deflection scaling relative to your airspeed and possibly a stall prevention mechanism (you can measure the angle of attack using speed sensors). I know this is a lot of logic but I feel like it would be a satisfying way to use the new analog logic.

If one build just dominates like in this challenge, then you should consider converting the challenge to an evolution style one. I.e. once you realize that there's no competition, everyone gets the better vehicle and can make changes to it. That would be more entertaining than having to sit through 3 more rounds of "oops, yzuei immediately lost his weapon ...again" rounds and only getting one "everyone using the winner's vehicle" round at the end. [edit: Especially in this challenge, I feel like there's a lot of strategy possible that you didn't really explore because your vehicles were so different.]

Nice how it folds the wings. I saw that last time in a 90´s Disney/Donald Duck comic, when they had a submarine plane, which folded the wings exactly like that to go from air to water and back into the air ^^

video idea: max complexity space station/ship battle with minions (MM) similar to a recent video, but on the spacebound map. you will have to use max complexity and of course be able to fly trough space. this would be cool because the space map is so large and free. the extra minions could be profncognito and corndogs, they would have to build smaller vessels doployed from the large mothership wich will be piloted by either scrapman or yzuei. i think this would be a nice concept with some niece tactics. P.S. you coulc use a wheel of fortune at the start to decide who builts what and what the teams are. hope this is considerd day 1

Battle Order Idea: (4 rounds) 1) Fight using your own build. 2 )Swap builds (switch from Player A’s build to Player B’s build) and fight with the opposite build. 3) Both fight using Player A’s build. 4) Both fight using Player B’s build.

plane battle but you can only fire when you are touching the ground so you have to do dives and skim the ground to fire above

Idea for a video. Same concept but instead of gliding its that you can only shoot while your car is in the air. You need to take ramps/jumps to shoot. Plus design a car that can handle the hard landings from big air.

I have a cool board game idea. The game is called evolution if you look it up you will find all the rules. But basically you draw get five or four cards depending on how many players you have, and all those cards can determine whether you put points into population size for eating food, and body size to determine your defence. There are many other things such as the watering hole would you put food into. or cards like flight where you can add wings to your vehicle, and carnivore that can attack other species. Just look the game up and you'll find all of the rules, I think would be a good idea.

You should do a challenge where there is a custom map with a race track made of only mud and have a bunch of sharp turns and zigzags. But your cars can only use racing wheels. PS this is in trailmakers

Day 48 of asking scrapman to build a car that shoots its seat and attaches it to a plain mid air with anchor blocks and or do a multiplayer battle with every part of the plane that falls off every few seconds so you don’t know if you’re being hit kind of like the car please don’t copy this anybody

An idea for a video would be reverse tractor beam builds. Two creations each. One big and extremely heavy build, that uses tractor beams to throw other creations away from itself, but must have a cool down. A smaller build that has to chase down the opponents larger heavy build and attach timed explosives to take it out without getting yeeted. See who's large build can last the longest before it's disabled. Infinite repairs on the small builds. (No weapons on any builds except the Dynamite on the small builds) However I would encourage the large builds to come up with tricks to help defend themselves, such as panels that can be released in case a explosive gets attached to them. I'm very curious to see what you guys can come up with for this.

Day six of suggesting this (Trailmakers): So basically, melee combat vehicles in the space map. Max of 150 blocks and 15 powercores for thrust and steering. No ranged weapons. For added difficulty you could have a melee battle in open space and then one in the atmosphere of one of the planets. You could do one of the battles in the asteroid debris

I have a video idea : invite all of your Trailmakers friends and battle with gunships and have one person drive and two people using The turrets but make turrets decently powerful or have one turret be a sniper turret by using -100 pistons with a 2 delay on the guns I suggest using the heavy canons and you can even make your own sights using glass blocks and decals

Pvp: make boats that can sink in the water but don't have an underwater seat, so that you have to come up pretty quickly, and you can only shoot while underwater. Non pvp: long jump contest with cars without any thrusters or lift on them

Day 61 of asking ScrapMan to play GearBlocks And Day 20 of asking ScrapMan to play Space Engineers Also, Multiplayer Monday Idea. I'd love to see a maximum complexity Mech battle in Trailmakers. Wheels or legs, but it has to use arms with weapons on them. Maybe even some melee if you're feeling adventurous Maybe even a two seater, one driver, and one gunner. Or, just separate mechs lol. I'd love to see some of the new combat logic/blocks used if available too!

IDEA, simple yet fun to watch for kewl strategies, Blimp battles! just making big ol blimps with inflatable balloons and smart canons would be fun to watch for the different ways u can take out the enemy! maybe the pillars, engines or even the balloons themself! i like the idea of slow battles yet interesting because of the strategies. thanks for reading!

Sorry, i sit here a lot and watch lots of you guys' videos. And come up with... lets just say, "elevated?" Ideas 😉. Thought of another one. A 3v1. Everyone make their own pizza delivery scooter and their own "manless" flying drone that carries 4 tnt to drop. The object is to stop the scooter by bombing it with tnt. Only 1 tnt can be dropped every 3 seconds per drone. Who ever lives the longest as the scooter wins. Drones can not kamazi.

There's no such thing as a thruster-less plane, lol. If anything it's a self-propelled glider, since it can still only glide through the air but his vehicle form has enough speed and lift to allow him limited airtime without the need for terrain elevation.

idea 2v2 one group is a super fortress with a tail ball gunner. only the gunner can shoot and the pilot flies and drops bombs. the other team will have 1 anti air and a fighter jet or prop plane.
