Did a metal only scrap yard cleanup in my backyard today. I felt like The Scrap And Pallet man first time in 20 years .Steel is 10 cents /lb here was surprised. Copper mixed is $2.40/lb at 24lbs was $57.60, car radiator gets $8 at 62cents/lb ,car batteries get $6/pc. Cast aluminum gets 41cents/lb, dirty aluminum 15cents/lb. I Did good without saying or bragging how much and my yard looks better. I was partially inspired by you Paul and your channel to do it,HA!. Thanks ...Glenn

It got so bad, I started running her cords in Flex Conduit to keep her rabbit from chewing through them.

That description of it as well as the habits of those box elder bugs sounds like what we here in the Pacific Northwest (SE Washington state) call "Lovebugs". I wonder if those are actually the same just with different terminology or are they 2 different insect? Research time, I suppose... LOL! Nope. They're different. Cool, though, because now I know the duifference based on research. Had a boatload of lovebugs in the Spring, and quite a few box elder bugs in Autumn. This year, the big thing this summer was GIANT stink bugs (0.7" long??) I think I saw ONE "regular-sized" one and about 48,006 of the larger ones. LOL!

About bugs, we have something called love bugs…twice a year, in spring and fall. Where they go in other seasons, who knows. But, they’re a pain, they will ruin your cars paint job if you don’t get them off your car. They don’t do anything other than reproduce, you see one you see the other, hooked together, hence the name love bug. 🤦🏼♀️. Unfortunately, growing up, my mom and I took a trip to our relatives always in the spring, the love bugs were always so splattered on our car-yuck! 🤢. ✌🏼❤️
