I found that I can collect a decent pile of shred. My problem is shred in my area is 3 cents per pound at one yard and 4 cents per pound at another yard. The higher priced yard I'm possibly looking at 4 flat tires on one trip in the yard. The cheaper priced yard is a clean yard. I question if I should cash in on shred or give it to Scrappers that'll benefit from it. Lately I drip it off at the dumpster the put out from for those that want it recycled and don't care about the money

Im not sure if you I have a discount bread store but if you do you can get bread for about $1.00 a loaf. If you do not have a bread store most supermarkets have a discount bakery cart, you just have to ask them where it is in the store. They have rolls, pies. Cakes, croissants, bagels and sometimes donuts. They are usually half off because they are over their expiration date. But I have never has anything that has gone bad or tasted funny just because it was a day or two old. Just trying to save you money. I am the most frugal person you could ever know and I am proud of it.

The folks around here, even the ones that don’t have pick up for stuff on the sides of the road have started putting any scrap metals and decent furnitures or whatever out for me to grab and half of em call and let me know it’s there. Wow that bed you found that said Vaughn Basset Galax, Virginia......that was so cool to see cause I was born and raised in Galax, Virginia and still have family that lives there, my dad does. That Vaughn and Basset Furniture Company has been in business there since the 1950's I bet, possibly even longer than that. They still make furniture, bed, kitchen tables, dressers, Hutches, about anything you can think of.....they still employee several hundred people in my old home town, though when I was young they employed a lot more. Used to be 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts and now they just have 1st and 2nd shifts due to not as many orders as they once had. But that was so cool since I have lived in Ohio for 5 years now and then to watch a video of yours and you are in Illinios and there is something made in my home town back in Virginia. Just really cool seeing that.

Omg the noise that styrofoam makes gives me the willies when we were younger my older sister had a styrofoam box she used to keep her hair rollers in and when she rolled her hair she would always scratch it to make that noise drove me crazy non the less somehow that box got broken lol 👿 😈 boy those were the good old days
