I love that you curb shop. Anyone can buy from a store, it takes patience to find useful items on the curb or in a thrift shop. I’m always happier with an item when I find it for a cheaper price or free. Thank you for taking us with,Paul! It’s always so peaceful and enjoyable to ride along‼️

Paula when I was alot younger my dad and I would do land fill shopping on one trip we found a snapper riding mower and three push mowers and all that was needed was a light tune up and new blades we also found a industrial size vice everything worked with some maintenance.

You might want to know that your Thomasville Furniture nightstands are from their "Mystique" (style 25511) collection manufactured about 1978 into 1980s. Made in North Carolina of oak solids and oak veneers with ash burl drawer fronts and tops. Asian influence combined with Campaign style. Great find! Those nightstands have sold online recently for $800 each---but here in North Carolina, you could buy them for less than $50. (Ha, we have vintage furniture for sale everywhere!) I'm retired from the furniture design industry and I still remember hundreds of collection names. You found some good furniture!

For sure Thomas furniture bis made here in NC and it is not cheap. The furniture show here every year brings alot of money to high point. That could have brought in at least 500.00 very quick more if u r willing to sit on it for a day or two.

@@ScrapPalletMan It was a quaint city. We moved there from Iwakuni, Japan. My husband was a Navy Chief Dental Prosthetic Tech assigned to the Marine Air Station there in charge of the dental clinics. We accepted orders to Great Lakes Naval Station and promised our kiddos we’d stay there until they graduated high school. We were living in a hotel with our two cats that we brought from Japan and 2 children both heading into 7th grade!! I got tired of waiting for housing so started house hunting and ended up buying a house down the street from Domino’s Pizza, 1300 19th St! Just sold again. We sold it for $100,000, in 2013 which was less than we paid in 1993! Property plummeted starting around 2006 and didn’t start rebounding until around 2015. In Florida it started like crazy with the new interest in space exploration and a new President and it’s just starting to level off here in Brevard County. I live in a house where we can watch the launches out of our living room window!! ☺️ Look forward to another adventure with you!!👏🎉

Would've loved the furniture, can't believe people don't at least donate it. The St. Vincent Depaul store here has someone who comes through and gets all the really nice furniture (always has a sold tag on it when I see a piece), but the money goes to help the local in need community so I really shouldn't get frustrated. Really enjoyed the video.
