That little square in the back of the big aluminum heat sink is a Peltier. You put power to it and they get cold on one side and hot on the other. If you did a test to see if it had power, they are cheap to replace. You could have had a nice little fridge for a few bucks.

Love scrapping everything I find in the garbage! If don’t have it use the hammer what I do lol never taken apart one of them before I know a lot of people freeze them before they take them apart to make it easier awesome video buddy!
