I have had this 382kg electric motor a while now and have been desperate to see how much copper was inside.
Today is the day i scrap the motor into steel, cooper and brass to see how much money is inside.
10-15 hours later we get to find out how much i will make today
Spoiler - For the effort required its one heck of a task. Like and subscribe for more funny youtube videos and shorts

So how much electric you use?? Grinder, air compressor. Than your time, gas to haul it. Here's the easiest way to do electric motors after you got em apart, burn em!!! Turn them red hot in a wood fire. Do not use water to cool them. Let them cool on there own or you going to make the copper brittle and you will loose alot when you try to get it out. I been doing the scrap thing since early 70s. Yeah you loose a little in Goin from no.1 bright, to no1. But the time saved is worth it.

What the heck? Who else would try to slam open a cast iron motor cover/case with an axe??? Try to do it with a sledgehammer next time. Using a proper way to take this monster or other electric motors apart would definitely be rewarding. Additionally you always have less heavy to carry!

@@doominic1882 Why? You can definitely earn more money if you take electric motors apart. Simply do it the right and in an easier way = work smart not hard! Electric motors pay 70 cents a kg where I'm from. You actually lost money. 25kg not to bad I expected 50kg plus from a heavy motor.like that.. Some of these heavy motors can be deceiving as far as the copper percentage..a lot of time and energy without the right tools. I've seen the Canadian treasure hunter split some huge ones apart with an axe or something similar but a grinder is a necessity.
