E waste might be a way for you to expand man. Watch ewaste Ben from Australia and you'll see how much money can be made from it, especially if your able to start doing a bunch of pickups and I'd say in Florida all those schools, colleges and banks and offices and your work ethic you could do really well.

Gold finger boards are good & back plane boards that the finger boards plug into are OK The rest is copper recovery shred, low grade boards, Prices back plane boards $3.45 Pound + Gold Finger Board $4.90 Pound Yours could be a little lower as they have Lots of Mosfets? Low grade green boards are $0.40 Per Pounds, Best plan would be grind them all up & shaker table them for Copper + Gold & other metals, Very hard to make wages not like your copper hauls

make sure you save those IC chips and LED's from the boards as well. They also contain gold wires inside them. You'll have to incinerate the IC's to get it out, and you'll need a lot of Ic's to make it worth doing. Once you get a few pounds of IC's together, you'll have a bit of gold you can hold in your hand.

Those boards had what was called s100 connectors on there. That type of connector is circa 1980 to early 90s. Those connectors are gold plated. The best thing to do is to saw them off the board, and save them for later. Secondary processors will buy them like that. It's probably not worth your time and would involve chemicals to properly process. I did a lot of that E' scrapping though, and those transformers usually get one good whack for my hammer and everything will fall apart and you'll get a nice coil of number 2 copper and chunk of steel.

Low grade in Wa state I get 15 cents per pound. Mid grade Ive gotten 1.59 to 2.59. Time at 5:15 is low grade. 5:50 looks like a mid grade. E-Waste Ben has some videos about this since that is his style of scrap. Im not worried about the time or low amount per hour on microscrapping , I will pull off relays, transformers and the aluminum etc. 10:38 definatley mid grade. 11:55 low grade nothing really on it. But I'm just a hobby scrapper so ya know. Oh and those transformers with the steel plates, a nice machete and hammer works wonders. Canadian Treasure Hunter showed it on his channel.

Gold finger boards are mid to high grade. Been scraping elctronics for over 10 years. The gold finger on thoes boards, 2 to 5 dollars wotrth of gold. the chips also containg gold. Nice stuf. Power supply boards , lots of transformers, not worth much. Back pane boards, where the gold fingers plug in. Hard to tell, some have a whole lot of gold, others not much, some none at all. You mentioned board sort. Good people. We send / have sent piles of stuff. they pay more if it's sorted. At 18 minutes The gold finger boards with lots of IC chips, high grade. Other boards are mid grade / top left. Not sure what they are paying right now but they are a good company to deal with.

@@ProjectShopFl Your welcome. We sent 70lb boxes via UPS and we mixed it up. For example : RAM , Hard drive boards. Highest value then made up the rest with mid grade. On averge about $700 per shipping cost was about 10%. We might get a load of computers for 200 and make about 1500 - 2k. off the copper, Aluminum, steel and so on. It takes time but it's worth the effort

Boards are graded on a "garbage to good" scale as I call it. Garbage being base metal bearing and good being precious metal bearing. Garbage are the brown boards as you can see a lot of transformers, aluminum, iron and plastic. I get about twenty cents per pound for them. Boards with ic chips is where the money starts to come in. Pricing can range from $.60/lb up to $7.00/lb.or more. Part of my last sale I had 267lb of nice old telecom boards that fetched $6.85/lb. Just like copper and steel, it's all about quantity or weight. If you don't get boards often then find a buyer and send em out. If you are going to be getting more and you have room LOL just start filling up a gaylord. Check with your yard, might be able to toss in brown boards with shredder.

Contacts are not worth much, keep all the gold fingers and brass and someday you might make some money. The copper you get is more valuable. Shark scrapper and ewaste Ben are great to explain the boards and components. This is microscrapping for sure. You have to really like micro scrapping to stay with it. I found the boards to be a complete, tedious waste of time. It's too much work for too little money and a hammer mill isn't going to separate the gold but.... I was scrapping old washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.. so with junk you're gonna get junk boards. Computers are a different story but still.... it's too tedious for garbage money. If you have a buyer for as-is boards sell them and get back to the big stuff. There's buyers for the ic-chips if you want to snatch them (they're the flat, black, rectangle and square things with all the legs) but just sell them with the boards - it's what they want anyway. Micro-scrapping sucks and with it comes micro-money. Time is money - we all know that but sometimes we need a reminder. Peace

😂 No, but that is interesting to me because I use to cut concrete for a living. We mainly used hydraulic saws.

Don't get too excited about all that "gold". To extract any gold it takes a chemical process and tons of material. They pay by the pound. I'd suggest you ask your local junk yards and fellow scrapers if there are printed circuit board (PCB) buyers in your area. Yes thay are worth scrapping if yiou have a buyer.

the companies that pay the best for ewaste are both located in N Ohio. pity you're so far from them- shipping will eat a lot of the profit you could have made.

Gold value there? Yes, but to whom. Recovery, to make it worth it, you need way more than what you have. Then what. Where's your continued source. Copper is your gig. Pull the xformers/coils off the boards, save the rest and find "someone" to buy. Good luck with that. It will be just like trying to sell generators, nobody wants to pay.
