Most fan motors are compacted with dust sucked in while running. It'll hume but not rotate when turned on. I blow out as much dirt as possible then spray lubricant around the shaft into the motor. Turn fan on and get blades rotating with a stick until under they're under their power. Sometimes a 2nd application is needed and fan fan works great.

@@TinManScrapper im hearing from the grape vine that you called an autistic kid an idiot and made him flip his desk. i do not think that a beauty like yourself would do that though. are you willing to clear up the rumors?

Prices are way better there. Getting $0.095 cents for shred, $2.75/lb for no2 copper, and only $0.39/lb for cast aluminum. Think I'll just let it pile up for now. The wire prices are really confusing to me also. The lowest grade/price, referred to as #2 insulated wire, is $0.75/lb. $1.80 for "machine wire" and #1 insulated at $2.10/lb. Romex at $1.65/lb. I know what romex is, but not the others......... Seems like what they call machine wire is definitely worth upgrading to #2 copper.

I am amazed that tin price has continued to stay high and blown away that cast aluminum is $0.85lb here.

I got ahold of a welder is the copper number one or is it number two.
@TinManScrapper
@TinManScrapper 4 ай бұрын
The welder wire would be #2 in the long cables because it is a bunch of thinner strands. Any wire thinner than 16 gauge (about thickness of lead of a pencil) is #2

@@nicolemik8677from what I know, unless very old, it's probably aluminum. If you scratch the copper colored coating you ruin the transformer.
