I have a suggestion for you. On the inside of the card add small circles like the one used for the string. Place them on the top & bottom of the gumball machine back glue 1/2 of each to the card leaving the loose end overhang on the pull tab. This would give more security to hold the gum in place but still allow the pull tab to come up & release the gum. The circles could be part of a strip of cardstock that would secure to & hide the tape mounted to the top & bottom of the gum globe. Very fun idea & you even know where to get the little gum. You get a star for your imaginating on this card.
