Oh wow Sas, this was an EPIC video. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. Now I want to make some too…of course. lol! I watched the video tonight so have to wait until tomorrow to go out to the studio to search for fabric strips! Oh and make a run to buy some cording….YIKES! Yet another slippery slope to slide down. Hugs from a rain soaked Wallalong…I enjoyed listening to your storm…as I listened to it pour here at the same time! Big hugs as always, 💛🌻💛

Beautiful bowls. I have adored Rachel's bowl she uses for cutting out when making journals, etc, so jealous of not having my own. I do coil weaving with raffia and grasses and long leaves and so on and I use them but I always have tiny thin pieces of raffia and grasses, etc, on my table top or lap, and I don't like dirty. I will be much happier using these coil bowls. I have plenty of coloured macrame cords. OOOh!! Project!! Thanks for sharing Sarah❤❤

Thanks Sarah. This looks like a great project. I need a thread catcher bowl but the slow stitch one would be two much for my hands so I think this could be the best of both worlds by adding some embroidery pieces as well.

It is a really good one and you can easily add stitching and embroidery to make it your own. 😊

For those who cannot locate the cotton twine you can also make the bowls twisted fabric. There are several old videos on this practice.
