I enjoyed her video and look forward to more from her. I’m watching this on Sunday. I walked in the end Alzheimers walk yesterday in memory of my mom. I really like the plaid tag. Very pretty papers. The stripped snippet strips are wonderful, but I like the torn square-ish shapes as well. They are a little more random. Barbara at 49dragonflies uses wide masking tape so she doesn’t need glue. She does catch the loose edges with a bit of glue. Thanks for sharing all your creative ideas.

Clever use of paper tape! Many uses too! I did this with fabric and used it on quilt borders.(a little wider strips that I sewed lace across the seams) They call it "piano keys". Anyway, I love the look and it uses up a lot of scraps. TFS 🤗

Enjoyed playing with scraps along with you, as always. Because of you I started saving those narrow scraps that I used to throw away. However I don't have adding machine paper so I use the long grocery store and drug store receipts. Wishing your girls continued success in volleyball.

I’ve been watching nearly every day since 2017 but have been missing since Aug 15 - my husband has been in the hospital since then, diagnosed with leukemia. He’s starting to feel better but has a long way to go! Hoping he can come home soon and we can both get back to doing the things we love!!

Hello Gayle. Loved this collage session with those pretty plaids. I teally enjoyed your potpourri of techniques. I have just come home from two weeks visit with my Sister in GA. I was about 20 minutes from home and got caught in terrible traffic jam from combo of construction and a wreck. Took me almost two hours to travel those thirty miles. 😮 I'm pooped! Good morning Gayle!❤ I do hope your roofers and contractors get on the ball with winter just around the corner. The last couple of years are the worst I’ve seen just trying to get things done. Contractors are overwhelmed, every job has complications (employees get sick, or quit, or just don’t show up, materials aren’t readily available, the list goes on) creating a snowball effect. We had 4 guys call about putting in a job app during past 2 weeks. (Yay!) Haven’t seen or heard from them since. (Boooo.) I like Linda’s envelope thingys. 👍 Hadn’t seen her video yet. I got new blinds a couple of years ago and rather than doing the whole house I just did the living areas, my living room, dining room, and kitchen, so it was only six windows so the cost wasn’t so horrible, they’re just Hunter Douglas, nothing fancy. I just put blinds from Lowe’s in my craft room and my spare room. I still need to do some thing about my bedroom. It’s got the little tiny metal mini blinds from 30 years ago and one of them is bent from a cat I had at the time looking out the window. They’re tiny little windows. I should just replace them it wouldn’t cost hardly anything, my sliding door I got with the blinds in between the glass and that’s great. My friend got blinds from the same company I did a few months ago and now they have fancier ones, there’s no string to lift them up anymore, there’s just a little button at the bottom that you push and then you just manually lift them up I wish I had those because I seldom ever lift them up, and I have that string hanging there for no reason.

I don’t know why but it struck me hilarious when that cash register tape got all twisted up. You know how sometimes the most silly things can just really click and I laughed so hard. Thank you for the belly chuckle! In the future however when you deal with rolled things like that enlist the help of your book cradle just put it off camera on the right with the roll in and you can just feed it through as you work on your projects. anything rolled that will work for like a wrapping paper roll of whatever-anyway just a thought. Thank you for all you do Gail… We love you!

There is someone else who uses a glue book like you. When it gets too sticky she glued it, folds it left to right for belly bands or strips like you are making.... Ginger

Have you ever tried to coffee dye a roll of adding machine tape? Might not work while on roll, i guess. What is your advice?

Hmm, I hadn’t thought of that. 🤔. I think I’d cut the roll into strips before coffee dying. I think the roll might be too tight for the coffee to get to the whole thing and then it might take forever to dry. But strips should work just fine. 👍❤
