Gayle, you are so right about the crafting in light of our current situation with covid. I am a widow and live all alone, so my time with all of you wonderful crafty ladies is like you are in my home. A buddy to craft with. I love all that you do and the conversation as well. Ha, even when you make up words..lol. Gayleisms..Thank you so much for all that you do. I have said many times that my fav is Scrappy Saturday. I hope you never ever stop doing them..be blessed this day and every day.

Just made one of these for my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter. I made her 2 cute journals to stick stuff down that I have cut out for her with her first glue stick Gramma gave her. She’s having a blast gluing stuff and playing with the tags, pulling them out and placing them in different pockets. Too much fun, Gayle!

I made these along with you the last time you made them and I LOVED using them in my journals! I guess I'm not a "newbie" anymore! You are that dear crafting buddy to me, Gayle. A story … I am Canadian. As such - I understand and have a deep sense of the weather as you do living in snowy montana. I love it when you talk about the weather and part of my Canadian brain keeps track. I watch you everyday so I have a pretty close tab on where you are at weather wise. You had a run there of about three days where you reported a big snow the night before. Lots of heavy snow removal reported with the deck, the cute boy and snow blowing. Then … maybe a day later … you said you tracked snowfall by a red wagon and said it must be six or eight inches. My weather brain went completely off it’s bearings. What? You can’t possibly have so little accumulation with all those storms. I wrestled with this for about two days when I realized the same Montana storm can be mentioned in three videos because you film multiples per day. 😁 anyway … always appreciate your local meteorological reports along with all your fantastic videos. Truly love having a soft, loving and creative place to land every day. Thank you. 💕

Oh, Gayle, I am obsessed with this idea! I have so many double sided, 6x6 paper pads and I made 13 the other day. Then I added tabs to the tags, punched a hole in some and added string or ribbons. What fun! Thank you!

You always brighten my day. I have started watching all your videos from the beginning. I loved your idea to create a journal of your own with all the various ephemera that you want to make so that you don't forget about each one. Then you can flip through when you need to jog your memory. Plus for me, it would be practice because I just keep watching videos and have never made a journal yet. However, I do keep collecting my "junk". 😆

Hi Gayle, I love the woven pocket, I make them all the time. I have a couple of journals in my shop that have a woven pocket right inside the cover. I stuff the pockets with 2 or 3 tags each then glue the pocket to the page so it is also a pocket. It's a great way to fill a page. I also really like the journal cards you make from a 12 x 12, where you cut off the 4 corners. I can't remember what you ended up calling them but they add a lot of journaling space. I remember in the early days you had said you probably wouldn't have much in the way of original ideas but you've had quite a few over the years. Keep the ideas coming.
