I mean, they made a "parody" of the opening theme song (and can it REALLY be called a parody if it changed so little?), where all they did was change the lyrics slightly and replace the visuals with characters from Doki Doki Literature Club. Which, by the way, is how I found out about this show's existence. I thought "Oh, so this video is apparently a parody of the theme from a Disney cartoon named "The Ghost and Molly McGee"? They must have taken the same melody from that show and changed the lyrics to make it sound like a creepy stalker. I have no idea what the show is about or what the original lyrics are.". But then I watched the original opening, and I was like "Ok, I did NOT see that coming. It actually wasn't really a parody. They BARELY changed the lyrics. The original song was ALREADY a creepy stalker song...with a little girl named Molly acting like a creepy stalker towards a ghost...who was trying to scare her...and now he's the one who's terrified of her...what a twist!".
