@@b_relyhum_n the candy citizens aren’t actually dumbed down on purpose. Throughout the show we see multiple very intelligent candy people, and many that are just decently intelligent. It’s just that on average, most candy citizens happened to come out pretty stupid. Even then, a lot of the people we see throughout the whole runtime of the show are pretty stupid, not just the candy citizens. I’d say the candy citizens are only slightly below the average intelligence for ooo as a whole.
