Scratch build 47" flying wing

The is my scratch build 47" flying wing that I will be using for FPV in the near future. I haven't decided what motor/esc combo I'll be using. This wing design came from another you tube member FPVTrond. Below is the link to his video tutorial on how to make this giant wing. His design is a for 49" wing. This is my version of it. The material that I had laying around only allowed me to build at 47". Enjoy.

I was waiting for all that sanding that goes with model airplanes,is that a type of kfm,airfoil the type that uses flat steps instead of curved airfoils?

Drag affects the trailing edges as well as the leading edges. It will still probably fly if you give it enough power, but those vertical trailing surfaces will kill a lot of efficiency.

Are airfoils mandatory for a smaller maybe 12in flying wing?

Elffie i don't think they are mandatory but makes for smooth flights.

I run an NTM 3530 1400kv with 9x5 prop on my FPV49... would work well on this wing :)

They are approximately 15cm a sheet.

+Improve English Now The hole was cut out with a knife. There is no specific angle that I used, I just eye balled it. Thanks for watching.

Hello Sir, i recently made a flying wing build just don't know what is the issue. the CG is well balanced.. everything is fine, but it just goes like this, kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXmzaHd8rJ12f6c It just goes on roll and flipps. It is on full manual, but it just flips without any remote inputs i Tried to move the CG bit forward and backward, but it made it worst. i just don't understand what is wrong with it. Can anyone guide me with it?

Johnathan Long If your talking about the electronics it will vary on what you choose. The foam is only $10 at your local hardware store.
