A lot of this episode reminded me of "The 5th element", especially the vehicles. Great to see you make some of the stuff that might go unnoticed. I always love your work and your attention to detail.

Clever use of the LED tea light. I'm always finding clever ways to use my surplus of those. This vehicle is something my buddy Tom the Trash Hauler would build in his greasy garage.
@earlware43223 жыл бұрын
Tremendous amount of details in such a small model sir! Would love to see this on a larger scale, if nothing else just so my old eyes can see and appreciate all the details. Awesome job!! 👍 I thinl it just needed one more LED in the cabin to represent the glow from the controls. It is a cabin by the way, trucks have cabs, so a hover truck would have a cab or a cabin. Since most ground effects vehicles in the SW universe don't technically "fly", just hover over the ground, I would call it a cabin. Great stuff, thanks for sharing, and keep on keeping on!!

Yeah, it's an occupational habit/problem with this hobby. I once was working on an 144th scale plane and had assembled, shaped, detailed, and painted a landing gear for over two days without any problem. Then when I went to glue it into the plane it shot out of my tweezers across the room. I swear there is some weird spacetime folding that goes on around small parts, either that or mini black holes love to consume model parts. (The chances of finding a lost part are inversely proportional to the importance of said part.) Finally found it two weeks later stuck in the cats fur of all places?!?

I don't know. It's a mixture between the two. So let's be a bit immature, call it a "Cockbin," laugh about it and say the build was pretty awesome. Good job, my friend!

Great build as always. :) it's pretty inspiring that you just see stuff and build it. Plus if you like it it makes the video more fun I think. Cheers

If it's hovering across the ground, then it is a Land speeder, which is the Star Wars version of a car. So, I would go with "driving from the cab." If it was up in the air and/or making any drastic vertical changes, then it is either an Air Speeder or a Starship, either of which would be "flown from the cockpit.

Cabin as it’s a smaller vhelicle than any ship and it’s also basically a hover truck
@grahams19393 жыл бұрын
Awesome build! It’s cool to see some of the smaller things that one wouldn’t typically think to build! Also it makes me think of the cabin on a crane so I’m going to say cabin, I feel cockpit would be more often used for an interplanetary travel ship as opposed to for a smaller speeder/transport.

Amazon has pre-orders up for Banai's Star Wars model kit of the 1/144 Razor Crest in both the regular and plated versions as well as regular and plated 1/12 Mandos. I have all of the SW OT kits Bandai made, but I am getting a regular Razor Crest to pick up and paint. I'll have to build a separate dio for it as the rest of my 1/144 ships are on a double trench run set, and the Crest wouldn't look right with them.
