Hi Mike, I put vaseline on a stick of Balsa, then on the knuckle/pin to keep the glue away.? Don't tell the Better half/Wife, she will slap you silly LOL

I just love how you have a solution for every step of building 👏👏👏

Simply love your videos, I fly mostly 42% IMAC planes and come from the old school when we all had to build our planes from kits (Box of Wood). I think you appreciate a plane more when you build the entire plane than when you purchase an ARF. Thanks for what you do.

Thanks Hank. You are so correct. I see so many disposable planes out there and no one appreciates them. Hopefully, this series will get a few guys building again. Be sure to join the FACEBOOK Group RC Foam Core Wings. The Group is a supplement to the video series. As well as the website Rcfoamcorewings.com There's a lot of discussion about this and other builds on that Group. The website is new and still under construction, so ignore the clutter.

It's been awhile since I've watched your videos. I'm amazed at the many tips that you offer to us. Regarding your torpedo levels, have you gathered them all up and physically compared them all together? The reason I ask is that not all levels are created equal. I use to work for a lumber/hardware store for over 13 years. Some levels can be slightly off bubble even from the same production run. So compare them at the hardware store before purchasing, and if you've already purchased them compare them and toss out the one(s) that are off bubble. You could save yourself some potential headaches down the road.

I'll have to check them out, thanks.

should try drilling holes instead of scraching.

Yep. I started adding a few small holes per side shortly after this video was made. A viewer recommended the method and it seemed to make sense. I've never had a balsa block sheer but those little epoxy "post/anchors" should help prevent it. I still scratch and always will but the holes are a new addition. Thanks
