Awesome! I’ve been wanting to make a CR90 at 28mmscale and this was very inspiring! Thanks you!
@Boylei4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! You should totally do it! I would do a few things differently if I did it again. More ship parts as scatter terrain and I wouldn’t fix the pieces to the board, but rather keep them as separate moveable pieces.
@riley41774 жыл бұрын
The Tantive IV has always been my favorite ship, and the “X-Wing CR90” is a lil too small for my taste. I think if I scratch built one... I’d keep it fully intact and have it in a shipyard style board. Anyways, keep up the builds, they’re pretty badass!

28mm figures would be about 65th scale, give or take. 6 feet = 1829 mm. Dividing that by 28 = 65. I forget the length of the CR-90, 150 meters or 300 meters, but you can easily determine the prototypical length in mm and then divide by 65 to get accurate scale dimensions for 28mm figures. More importantly, you can fabricate your own 65th scale ruler with this information to save yourself a headache.

hahaha shout out to gramma, nearly spat my coffee out on that one.
@ram64man4 жыл бұрын
Not bad but if I could rate a few things that may help, You need to add more burn marks and blacking, this is a craft that has exploded and then had an uncontrollable re-entry, also its a little to intact thinknof ww2 boats when they sink , gun enplacement bend, holes appear for oxygen escape as well as the explosions, so areas like engines wouldn’t be in one piece or hardly undamaged.

Bro I would love it if you’d help me out making a Death Star hanger and tractor beam reactor I’ve been looking at battlefront models and stuff but a google sketch up or 3D model would be a godsend maybe an idea for future battlefields?
@Boylei4 жыл бұрын
Hey! Those would be sweet battle maps! There are a couple of good SketchUp models out there of the Death Star Hangers you should check out, but nothing for the tractor beam reactor. My computer died so I can’t build anything at the moment, but when I have a working computer again I’ll see if I can come up with something!
