Favorite Star Wars ships: falcon, slave 1, and the assault gunboat! Man the gunboat was my favorite jam back in the 90s as a kid, flying for the empire in a ship with shields and all the ordnance! It was fun to blow up capitol ships and then take out star fighters too

My favorite ship/fighter is the TIE Striker. The Empire was planning to replace the TIE Fighter with the TIE Interceptor, but they really should have tried to replace both the Fighter and the Bomber with the Striker; one frame supporting mission-specific loadouts.

My favorite ship in all of Star Wars would have to be the Dynamic-class Freighter, it’s the model of the ship the “Ebon Hawk”, it’s notably faster than the Millennium Falcon but is also much smaller

Have you tried dry brushing a white or off white on you old model? That should nring back the color and cover the nulin oil. I do that all the time on my figures. You can do the same thing on the other colors of your model Just make sure that if you don't have the same ting of paint anymore to use something a tad brighter. That'll bring the oil down while highlighting the edges to give you an even cooler worn look. Just rember the paper towel is you're friend and keep the paint down on your brush if you don't already know. lol. Also did you hit it with a can of matt varbish when you were done? I can't tell but it looks like you have paint chips and that would be the cause. lMO

Amodelling hand drill and some small gayge brass or cooper wire should replace those laser barrels fine. Just hit them with some primer white paint and poil when done and you prob won't notice the dif while getting strng guns out of it. No offense meant if you know that already.
