Scratch Practice #5 with D-Styles

So fresh and funky yet extremely technical. D sounds unlike so many other DJs who emphasize really fast scratching (through fast fader hand movements) but don't sound as musical as he does. Moreover, their scratch vocabularies seem quite limited as they mostly just create sounds by adding more clicks. Here, however, I think D shows he's got the skills to take the "aahh" and "fresh" sounds through a range of intonations by varying record hand speed and movements and utilizing tears in addition to clicks, like for example at 6:09 - 6:20 of the video. Awesome musicality.
