Randy did *not* die too soon! He died leaving us wanting *more* and that's the best way to go. That was such a devastating kill and it defined Scream 2 as a risk taker like its predecessor with the Drew kill. Absolute perfection. I don't understand the fans that argue with this one.

Flawless casting and well written characters that you actually care about. Reasons why Randy’s death in Scream 2 hit so hard. And Rose’s character Tatum’s death also hit hard. The fact that they've all admitted to missing Randy in the past and all still agree that he should've been in the films longer just further proves that they made a mistake in S2. It most likely was already gonna happen anyways, but it definitely could've been saved for S3 or S4..and with a better, more emotional/sacrificial setting than inside a van in the middle of the day..which was shocking, but still...in a van? Lol. Yeah, if it was a plan for him to go out at some point, it should've been in S3-4 and with a better, but still unexpected setting. Anyways, glad to hear that the character's still missed by the core cast. 💯 Loved this S1 mini reunion. Forever love Scream.
