Especially considering they met on the set of scream and the films almost mirrored they're dating life for years . Unfortunately they split alittle while after Scream 4 came out .

I think what makes the Scream films so iconic is that they show how different horror movies can be and can still work. They're scary as hell, a bit campy, bloody and gory where they should be but not over-the-top, and they're funny! I have never really liked scary movies or horror movies but I love these movies because they're so much more than just jump scares and blood everywhere. I'm excited to see this one. And I really did hate it when Randy died so early. I was super bummed.

I think what makes them iconic is that they are so mainstream. they have the feel of a romantic comedy with so many teenagers and cultural references. and even when people are killed off there is no lingering grief or sadness as the story quickly moves forward. Unlike other horror movies there are no demons or ghosts or ancient rituals etc or deep themes. So its pretty popcorn type horror. And that always work. Popcorn entertainment done right always works.

On the one Hand these 5th one delivers, but on the other hand not. In a 6th one the Legacycast definently should have more Screentime than in this movie. Dewey they can bring back with Timeline flashbacks or memories from Gale & Sidney. And of course i would preciate it if they bring back Stu, Kirby and Mark (Patrick Dempsey) as Sidney Husband. With this plot they would absolutely nailed it and i forgive them the new directors that they let Dewie die. I think every Scream Fan would love to see that in the next one !

i dont really like horror movie but after watching the Scream (2022) i turned to like it, so i binged watched all the movies from Scream 1-4 and now i know why this movie went viral and has a lot of fans around the world.. These three brought their character soo soo well into life and im really thankful for the casting team back in the beginning of this movie production to cast these three incredibly talented actors.. But, knowing that the scream 6 is coming in 2023 and Neve Campbell would not reprise her role as Sidney Prescott is drop me down, i mean, this movie is circling around the story about her and her mom , she is literally the center, the heart of the movie. I hope the production team will bring her on the next installment, if she asked for increase of paycheck, i dont think it's a big deal since she has done great things carrying this franchise legacy for more than 20 years, she deserves it.. So yeah, the next movie might be a good one but it will never be the same without Neve Campbell...
