Scream Factory | May 2024 | Pick-Ups

Personally, I think scream factory has been having a really solid 2024. Even if some of the movies aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, they’re giving us new collector’s editions instead of just 4K upgrades. They’re digging more into the 90s and 2000s as well, which is a big plus for me, I love that era.

The reason that on the actual case in this case. It doesn't have a reversible cover is because the the standard version or store release version. Will only come with the original cover for the movie. That being the one with the Klowns arm an the earth on it. The one slipcover you put on it is a exclusive you get only from ordering it from. Shout /Scream Factory directly so it makes sense that its not included. In the store release version that is also the same bundle I ordered from Shout/Scream Factory. I also did the same thing but I tend to do that with their movies. I have the slipcover or box art image different from the one on the actual movie case. I just think it gives it a little something extra. Because you get both the new art work an the original art work at the same time. I did the same thing with the New Collector's Edition of Halloween 3 Season of the Witch that came in Friday. The box like sleve has the new image an I have the original image on the case. But the case also has the new image in the other side. I did the same thing with Elviras Hunted Hills. The box sleve has one image the actual case has another image. Its two looks for the same movie you can't go wrong. That movie also has the box sleves art work on the other side of the case art work. I find it so much easier to show both the new an original art work. When the movies come with a slipcover or box sleve. So basically if its a Shout/Scream Factory exclusive cover art it is only available. If you order it directly from them. That's why some Shout/Scream Factory movies have reversible covers an some don't. In this case the stores only will get the original art work with the Klowns arm an the earth on it. Then the steel book because that version is also going out to stores. But the slipcover you put on it is only available if you get it from them well they last. Basically till they runout of them.

I finally watched Alien Private Eye after picking it up in 1 of the sales a few months ago, and while I didn't like as much as you do, I did enjoy it and am BAFFLED Master Chaos isn't a fan of this movie. To me it was like the cheesy good time I wanted from NY Ninja but didn't get. Some absolutely hilarious moments, good villain, fun watch. Have you seen the trailer for that new movie The Bikeriders? Do you think it looks like a good biker movie?
