1600 DPI is slightly better but not enough that you should worry about it. Just play on what you like.

why is it better?

@@shujagal8744 I don't remember properly, but I saw a video (by Voltaic I think), that showed some very deep technical stats of mouses and how 1600 registers a lil faster, or something similar. It's of course not that important because the change is barely noticeable and doesn't matter.

apart from a miniscule difference in mouse latency, 400 dpi is just better in every way. Straight lines can be drawn faster and easier, muscle memory can be trained easier, more room for error and many pros have said that they can 'feel' their aim better. No joke my aim improved so much from switching to 400dpi after being on 1600 for two years straight. Kept my edpi the same but the overall feeling just felt more natural. People should give it a go, theres a reason why most cs pros still opt for it over 1600dpi.

Having a polling rate above 1k hz barely helps so I’d say DPI’s impact on sensor performance barely helps either tbh it doesnt matter I agree with scream

400-1600 is a sweet spot. everything that is not included in that range - just put it up for fun
