Whats even better is that the directors said he did the finale in so many different ways and each time was more crazy and bat shit than the next. If the version we got in the film and this blooper here is any indication, I wonder how much more fun he was having that we DIDN'T see 😂. Dermont is the reason I love this film and reveal so much. Easily my favorite ghostface besides Billy and Stu. He does that same kind of psycho delivery that Billy and Mickey did, but he might be my favorite at it. I feel like he had the most emotion, and it was more frustration and annoyance like Homelanders birthday speech than anger like Billy. It feels like he’s finally giving this speech that he spent all this time preparing so he can vent.

Dermot Mulroney looks to be having a lot of fun here. It's great. Of course, in the actual film going from well acted police detective to a man who's just finished reading the scenery chewers guide to milking it, took away grom the tension somewhat

I know it’s kinda the trope they go for in these movies - and I love these movies! - but I distinctly remember feeling a bit put off by how wacky they played this reveal. Same with Scream 5; the character shift just doesn’t work for me, when the killers are revealed they’re EXTREMELY cocky to the point of disbelief. Awesome films, I guess I’d just like to see the killer reveal handled more seriously in the next one.
