I'm glad #6 appears to have been made to be genuinely scarier, hopefully, instead of having corny lines riddled throughout. (Ex. "Fuck Bruce Willis" in #4, "Don't fuck with the original" in #4, or the multitude of corny lines from Deputy Hicks from #4,.......basically, just #4.....It appealed to the younger generation, but it wasn't really scary compared to the original 3)...It's like the producers of #6 finally said to each other, "Hey, this is a horror franchise. Let's respect the history of it, Wes Craven's vision, and the OG fans. Let's make this one dark and scary. Scare the OG fans AGAIN like they never expected!".....Also, to make a movie "immortal", you have to minimize dating it. Meaning, don't pollute the film with controversial and political topics of 2015-2022, like so many other films did that absolutely killed major franchises like the Star Wars main saga. Stick to writing a GOOD story. One that will stay in people's minds for a long time, like #1 did. Further, whether or not it's been confirmed Stu has been killed by the TV scene in #1 (I, honestly, haven't looked into it.), I think it would be awesome for so many of the OG fans to finally get what they've always wanted. Stu having been taken into police custody in the hospital after surviving the TV to the face/head, using an old and worn looking mask (representing the original "old" feel of #1), and coming back for any of the original cast as well as the "new". Maybe he escaped from death row in prison, kind of like how they portray Michael Meyers escaping the mental hospital. His face is all scarred up like the worn out mask he wears. In the #6 scene with Gale, Ghostface even wipes off the blade of his knife, which is exactly what Stu did in #1 when he acted like he killed Billy in the bedroom with Sidney! Can you imagine how satisfying and full circle that would be for Stu to be the killer? As a BONUS, you'd even get the younger generation to watch the original movies! Talk about gas lighting the entire franchise and making financial gains in the process!
