Listening to this today in respect to Mark Lanegan who sadly just passed away and thank him and his band mates for honouring us (Buffalo) with their rendition of this song. There's a great band waiting up there for you mate, I hear they need a singer.

I was saddened to hear about Mark's passing, we've lost too many great artists over the last couple of years and to lose someone so young is especially painful for us all. We can at least celebrate his life and music and recognise his contribution to our art. Rock In Peace.

Howdi Screaming Trees, nice version guys, honored that you would cover our tune. Where are you from?? Recently I performed Freedom as part of a Buffalo Revisited set at Evil Invaders V here in Sydney which was video'd and posted on KZbin, In Sept we'll repeat the dose in Melbourne's Corner hotel. Unfortunately a full re-union is not possible but the players I've assembled are truly first class and we may do more shows if enough interest. Be well, go hard, Dave Tice.

For sure! I have tried to accumulate all of Lanegans solo work over the years and any trees compilations, so this find was a pleasant surprise for me. And again just funny I haven’t come across it before. Anyway, thank u again! Really enjoyed this.
