That was the best weekend on the Solent I've had in ages! Vixen (Astus 22.5) was anchored in the next bay toward Cowes and close to the beach. The water was lovely and the children, wife and I had a fabulous time. We will definately do this again when it warms up.

My name is jeff... Never heard of a screeched sail. Looks like a 120% or something like that, like a genoa. Lmfao with that jump. Love it!

Hi Jeff! The screecher is a light wind reaching sail. There are different names for it but all for the same thing which can get confusing sometimes. Thanks for watching!

We berth our cat at Mercury. Great Marina with excellent staff. Looks like Mingulay goes very well. Looking forward to seeing her in a blow!

Love the new boat. Osbourne Bay is crazy busy in the summer months but great for a swimming.

That's like a trip down memory lane for me. I used to be berthed in Mercury and the first pub I took my then girlfriend to was the Folly. Unfortunately I didn't leave her there though 😊
