They played music they enjoy thats not selling out the fact that each album was a change shows that they kept growing and the transaction for late 90's blink to the enema of the state stuff was natural, why would then then release self titled album which was a complete change to the last 2 very successful ones if all they wanted was money ?

@TheOrangeLemon progressively worse is a subjective term. objectively their music just became less and less punk... and selling out? wtf is that? they wrote different music and sold alot of records. punk gets boring to play for 15 years straight, and once a band gets better at their instruments you start doing different more complicated things with them.
