Thanks for this tutorial, I’d like to make the costume but when I try to print the pattern it sizes it onto an A4 page. I’ve had a look at options to resize but I can’t figure out how to do this. How do I print the pattern at home as an actual pattern in the correct size? I’ve done this previously with patterns I’ve bought on Etsy, they just print onto multiple sheets and then I piece and stick them together. Thank you!

How would I modify it so I can make a 2022 robe?
@GDSVHorrorCosplayingArchive Жыл бұрын
There are lots of differences between the two robes, i think the only part that could be reused is the torso of the pattern and the arms, for it to look like the 2022 you will need to make the hood bigger in height and width at the back, make drapes with 3 roughly cut points at each end, use really thin foam, make a velcro opening from the neck to the bottom of the robe, make the arms without the gloves, sew an elastic inside the wrist of the arm, cut triangles on the extra material beyond the wrist, make the spikes on the bottom of the robe really small, use a less sparkly fabric for the robe, use non sparkly fabric for the gloves, there might be something else, but i recommend you look at screenshots of the real thing.

I have a question, are those measurements accurate? I want to download this sewing pattern, print it onto 2-3 A0 and then use those prints to precisely cut fabric and then sew the parts together. Can I do it? Or maybe those measurements will be off i.e length of the printed front piece won't be 190cm but 150cm
@GDSVHorrorCosplayingArchive Жыл бұрын
by acurrate you mean what? to the screen used robe? or the sizes i mentioned to work for me? cuz the file i provided is already at the right size on 100% this robe does not use screen used mesurements btw
@Piwowy12 Жыл бұрын
@@GDSVHorrorCosplayingArchive To the sizes you mentioned. I'm almost the same as you in terms of height and weight so this sewing pattern is perfect for me. However I don't know how to go about cutting material into individual pieces. I guess I have to use ruler and some chalk to draw on material and can't just print your pdf then align it on top of my fabric and cut it because those 190cm of front piece in pdf won't be 190 cm after printing. And that's since your sewing pattern is simply informative (this piece should be x cm). Correct?

@@GDSVHorrorCosplayingArchive any suggestions? i'm a 5"5' woman
@GDSVHorrorCosplayingArchive Жыл бұрын
@@mudbucket1354 well, the basic characteristics of the scream 5 robe (scream 6 is different btw) is that it has a less sparkly fabric, the hood is wider at the back curve, its also taller, it uses really thin foam (2mm i think) the torso has a snap button opening all the way down, and has no cut in the bottom, the arms are gloveless, they are frayed at the end of the wrist, and they have elastic at the wrist, the drapes are super frayed and double layered, but the two layers are not sewn together, the gloves are made of an elastic material, i suggest spandex, as for your height, put a tape measure on your shoulder next to your neck, let it drop down, and mark were it reaches your ankles, with that measurement, remove the height of the torso below the arm hole, oh and the boots used in the movie are doc martens, have fun.
