I have seen several screen painting tutorials and you are the only one who actually made a test before doing the final step! If I ever get around using this technique I will have your advice and tutorial on mind! Thank you so much! :)

Very good tutorial. Easy to follow along. Much better than others I’ve seen.

This is a very cool summary tutorial. If you use a scoop coater to apply the emulsion the resulting film of emulsion on the mesh will be much more consistent and easier to make stencils with ;) Nice demonstration of the wedge test for exposures! Come get some Catspit~!

This looks a lot more complicated than what most people would call a home craft.

I agree with you 100%. The process she is demonstrating is too complicated. Not to mention that the exposure unit is way to big.
@binawaleed3301 Жыл бұрын
@@jor771572 yes...however, in my country, this process is somewhat shorter. you just add sensitizer to your liquid and pour it on the screen. then trace your design on tracing paper while your screen is drying. then place your design on your screen and expose it to the sun for 1-2 min. and that's it. quickly after that, you can use it for your own benefit!!!
@binawaleed3301 Жыл бұрын
and yes.i forgot..you have to rinse before your first print!!

This is actually a summary and there's much more to learn, screenprinting isn't scrapbooking. Many artists make a living out of it.

"home craft" yes because everyone has a massive light box at home

Very detailed. Thanks. It's clear to me that I won't be getting into this business. I'll work with experienced vendors to get things printed. That's a LOT of steps! :)

u actually spread emulsion let dry have your design apply light , then rinse off and apply to shirt not a lot of steps..

Very well presented, and I do really like that exposure unit. I'll have to build one. Thank you.

instead of printing your design on paper and then transferring it with a permanent marker, why not print directly to a transparency?

you seem to be doing this in a room with normal light..... i thought the photo sensitive emulsion needed to be applied in a dark room or similar...

we did this in high school i made jim morrison but i remember it way different we used an overhead projector for me to magnify my pin and i drew jim and had to draw half his face and hair and the drawn in parts were where the color would not go through.. i never used a light i remember cutting it away in the screen which was orange,,... it very well could be my teacher did the exposing and rinsing for 30 kids but i just dont think so.. does this sound familiar to anyone? i used just black and a white t but i do know each color had to have its own screen so a lot of people who did like album covers iron maiden number of the beast didnt finish..
