Awesome. Can you use this plastisol ink on cardstock or paper bag too? Do you need to heat press for foiling?

Wow, this looks amazing!!👍 I wonder if hand washing the foiled shirts will make it last longer.

I’m sure that would help! I’m too lazy to hand wash my shirts though 😆

Can it be a regular plastisol ink or has to be stretch ? Also why did you choose stretch ink? Thanks! Love your channel! 😊
@pigskinsandpigtails Жыл бұрын
I haven’t tested the foil with standard plastisol ink, but I believe it will work as long as the ink is cured properly. Stretch ink was recommended to me and has worked great on all of my projects!

Hi for the water base ink the screen does not have to be spaced like the plastisol ink?
@pigskinsandpigtails Жыл бұрын
When you are using a press, it’s generally helpful to have a some off contact. It’s especially helpful with the stretch ink because of the texture.

So is using this plastisol method more effective than just using the foil / htv method?
@pigskinsandpigtails Жыл бұрын
I always choose screen printing because of the soft feel and I have better luck with screen printing lasting longer than HTV

I have a shirt that was foiled and I put it in the dryer by accident, the clear ink part is still on my shirt but the gold is gone, could I just re foil it or would I need to reapply the clear ink?
@pigskinsandpigtails Жыл бұрын
When you add the foil with your heat press, it cures the plastisol ink so I don’t you will be able to re-foil it.
@ethicalfrog589 Жыл бұрын
@@pigskinsandpigtails ah right that makes sense. Is there anything you would suggest in this situation as it was a shirt I purchased so I don't have the screen to reprint it. Or would you consider the shirt ruined?
