It's not against the law for them to do so actually it's against the law for a cop to arrest you for singing a song it's freedom of speech and you can sue for a shit load of money, but in most cases the cops only care about this law for white people.If a black person does it they can't charge them with something like that so they usually make up some bullshit like resisting arrest even if they weren't under arrest in the first place. First things first......SOC is a HELLUVA good movie. Probably one of the best depictions of a true story I've seen. I was 16 when NWA hit the scene, and while I was never a huge fan of rap, their music was over the top. You didn't have to agree with their message, but you couldn't deny the talent.
