Maggie is justified for hating Negan, but I've been sick and tired of her self righteous hypocrisy when it comes to treating him like a demon shat from hell while she's a whole unapologetic, tactically, murderous survivor herself. Negan asking her how many husbands & fathers SHE'S killed was one of my very favorite parts.

I'm thinking the Croat was kicked out of the Saviors for killing women and children. Because Negan, for all his faults he did NOT enjoy killing women and also refused to kill children. Tbh he never was going to make good on killing Carl at the end of Season 7, if anything he wanted to practically adopt him and make him his successor.

I love it it was a very solid premiere and I can't wait to see more of it new York looks gorgeous as expected ,and I love seeing these new places, and sides of the world that we've never seen before. World beyond really flushes out the CRM and what the highest form of “authority” we have are up to and why they’re responsible for the helicopters & Fear is more along the lines of finding a cure eventually but I’ve still enjoyed all the main cast in that!

I’m thinking that the Marshals are in cahoots with the Croat. How else would they know about Glen’s death unless they heard it from someone who was there or in the Sanctuary? I’m guessing that the Croat wants revenge against Negan for his ear and other abuse and that Maggie at some point killed someone he loved.

What's funny is that Rick's group thought that Negan was a monster for killing Abraham and Glenn. But they never seem to realize that they were the monsters when they killed over 30 people in their sleep. People who had families. Negan did what he did for a reason. If he would've never killed any of Rick's group. His own group would've gone out of control, retaliated, and possibly turn against him. And more of Rick's group would've ended up dying. In ny opinion Rick's group got off easy.

Appreciate you covering TWD and Dead City but there are some factual errors here. The walkers came to the Greene farm at the end of Season 2 because they heard Shane and Carl's gunshot in 2x12. Not because of any helicopter. Hershel didn't have 3 daughters in the TV show, only two. The ring Maggie wears now is a symbol of her union with Glenn but it's not the same ring he gave her from Season 3. I mean, you can even see with your own footage here that one has a diamond and the other doesn't. There are some other things. Need a team of better fact checkers.

@@Infamous-ivy There is no legal system in the apocalypse. There are no marriage license papers to sign. So, more than anything else, Glenn & Maggie are bonded in their hearts and minds. In our world today, a ring and a wedding is just a symbol of a bond/union, anyway. Union means to be joined together, as one ya know? Steven and Lauren talk about this in various interviews -- that Glenn wanted to bring in something from the old world (asking Hershel for Maggie's hand in marriage, and giving her the ring) even though it's all symbolic.

I think a good but controversial ending for hershall if they continue these arcs past dead city, and keep a parallel with how he turns out in the comics also. since all the 2nd generation kids of twd heroes all seem to be heading in thr heroic direction, I think hershall should turn out in the opposite direction and be more like a sabastian type in personamity, not be a pussy per se rather just a entitled scoundrel of a p.o.s!.. I think it can start with the show seeming like hershall will be more like Maggie n glenn initially, but have him grow more n more resentful towards Maggie once he notices that she leaning more n more towards forgiving negan n maybe even starting to be somewhat friends with him! negan can start off trying (and failing initially) to attempt to be somewhat of a male role model that hershall is surely missing which obviously makes his resentments grow and seethe in time. however hershall hatches a plan in secret to get close to negan and "fake" positively accepting negans attempt at trying to be there for hershall. in turn fooling the fambase into believing (like maggie) that hershall and negan are becoming freinds and negan is trying very hard to do anything he can to make up for killing his father, putting his life on the line for hershall over n over n over again. by this time Maggie would already have forgiven negan (atleast as much as she can at that point) and appreciates negan putting his neck out on the line and going out of his way at times (and thru his never ending guilt) to protect hershall..however eventually when Maggie and the fans and even negan fully start to accept that hershall has forgiven negan and put everything behind them, during a tense season finale one of 2 scenarios happen. 1) they are in a situation where they are barely escaping a walker hoard n hershal deliberately in a very diabolical way gets negan killed, for example a classic scar n mufasa scenario where negan boosts hershall n Maggie up to high ground, Maggie is injured and can't help negan up so hershall is "attempting" to pull negan up but the camera zooms in a hershals face and he grins the most sinister negan esq grin (talk about learning from the best) and he deliberately let's go of negan to fall into the pit of walkers and the show actually shows negan dying n getting ripped apart! no cheap "gotcha" fake deaths here!.. or, 2) hershall simply kills negan point blank in front of Maggie who obviously pleads with him not to, maybe the scenario is that hershall sees negan and Maggie becoming too friendly (not in a romantic way but in a they're truly becoming real freinds way), after seeing this hershall snatches Maggie's gun out of her holster and points it at negan (mind u this is after Maggie and fans alike are fooled into thinking hershall n negan may be getting close) and he does the whole resentful monologue of "how dare u mom!?! laughing and going about with this fucking guy who MURDERED my father!! who murdered ur fucking husband!?!" Maggie tries to talk him down, but negan gets on his knees n tells the kid that if that's what he wants, than go ahead, "iv done many horrendous things and I more than deserve to die, hell I probably should have died a long time ago! so if that's what u need to do kid.... then it's OK by me".. Maggie's tells negan to "shut the fuck up man!! u don't know when to keep ur damn mouth closed dude!!" trying talk my kid down n U AINT HELPING!!. anyways the scene would culminate in hershall putting the gun down, phew Maggie talked some sense into him...... BUT hershall turns looks at negan and again like scenario 1 grins the most sinister grin at negan, right then the camera zooms in to negans face n he knows, he knows what that grin is, hell ITS HIS FUCKING TRADEMARK!! hershall turns around outta nowhere n 'POP' right in negans head!! slomo n all, his body drops, Maggie is freaking out grabbing the gun out of hershalls hand and the whole time that sinister grin never leaves his face til the screen turns black..BOOM! season finale. that perfectly ends the negan n maggie/hershall arc and set up a completely different character for hershall if they end up doing a time jump series with the 2nd generation kids. the ones we see at the end of twd series finale!! it would explain a estranged hershall and a more p.o.s arc while the other kids are the more typical hero characters.. it wouldn't be jarring seeing hershall as a sweet kid or normal teenager all of a sudden being a complete pos in the future esc. the best thing is aside from setting up the timejump series, it ends Maggie and negans arc in a non typical way.. no happy ending even tho it seemed to be heading in that direction at a certain point. especially if they do a good job at keeping hershals motives open-ended. at times it seems obvious he will turn on negan somehow at somepoint, but other times it's almost too obvious the show is gonna pussy out and hershall is gonna end up forgivng negan. so the audience can go back n forth but closer to the finale it needs to lean closer into trying to convince the fans that hershall won't end up killing or turning on negan, almost at a certainty! AMC is too scared to pull the trigger, theyre gonna go the typical boring route..that way it hits hard even for the ppl who think hershall was always gonna turn on negan, even those ppl were second guessing themselves. a big part of that is Jeffery Dean Morgan! they need to convince the fans that he is coming back the following project following whatever the last season ends up being that involved maggie/negan/hershall!! even if they need to write in some frivolous flashback so they can announce that he is signed up to come back at some point in the future.

TWD :o it's still on TV...damn! impressive---I gave up on that series, but some of these spin offs look interesting--I like Neegan from the movie The Loser's, I liked that movie, butt damn if they didn't make us want to dispise his character in TWD, killing off our stars--Grrrr, it was nice to see his redemption and Rick keeping him alive was his way of passing the torch to another star to carry that series, so for me to see maggie and neegan working together is genius-they hinted at that possibility B4 I stopped watching...I like that tho, and it has peaked my interest to watch a spin off--learned something new thank you Ryan!-
