Screened In Porch |Porch Decorating Ideas

It took almost a year to get our screened-in porch complete. We purchased our home on 5 acres over 2 years ago. It did not have a screened-in porch and we knew that had to be on our "to-do" list. This is a large modern farmhouse porch, that is filled with old and new things. I love to incorporate both to create a cozy and live-in feel! I am going to share with you some of my favorite screened-in porch decorating ideas!

Love porches. My husband added vinyl sliding windows to our porch . We use it all year and we live in central Indiana. Have even had thanksgiving dinner on it.

Porch is beautiful! We have similar porch, but added a big screen TV above the fireplace. We're porch people and my husband loves to watch sports, so it's a win win. You can purchase TV covers for outdoor TVs, but you could make or purchase a wood cover.

Oh Jennifer, this is EXACTLY the video I needed to see today. We have a large covered patio that I want to screen in but I just couldn't get the vision. While I don't need a fireplace...I do need wall space. You gave me the idea for curtains inside the screening...and the height of perimeter walls. I have a vision now! We did the same kind of addition, only we decided to substitute screens for UV protected glass so we can use the room all year. Best decision ever! I was sent home to work during Covid so my sunroom is now my office. Your porch is beautiful! I'm sure you will get a lot of pleasure from it.

I love bunnies, too!!! My husband dubbed me Snugglebunny back in college 33 yrs ago and then had it engraved in my wedding ring!! LOL!! I love your bunny weathervane!!!! So pretty!! I live in a 112 year old home with a porch that wraps from main entryway to dining room door. It’s about 8’ wide and I’ve been having the best time adding vintage furniture, sewing slip covers for the seats and even using vintage linens made into pillows on my seats. I have an old wicker baby basket/sleeper on a table I might turn into a planter.
