I like that Anna and Elsa’s parents segregated the two sisters without ever telling Anna why. Yet, they were willing to endure external perils while causing severe internal harm to both daughters. I’m convinced the trolls were the real villains of the franchise.

They didn't tell Anna cuz she was way too inquisitive. It was for her own safety. What internal harm did they cause? They were following visions from the troll. Elsa was scared of her powers with no instructions. The troll doesn't know more than what he saw. So none of them are villains here.

Yea I was very disappointed arendale wasnt destroyed. By actually going through with it you make the heroes actually feel the weight of their decisions and have lasting consequences and at the sametime teaching kids that doing the right thing can be painful but even when youve lost everything you can rebuild and make it better and more pure. Instead everything was just fine at the end

Just a correction on the intro, the studio that produced Frozen 2 did NOT produce any of the direct-to-video Disney sequels between Rescuers Down Under and Wreck It Ralph 2. Those were done by their sister studio, Disneytoon Studios. After Rescuers Down Under's performance at the box office, Disney decided the main animation studio would not be used for sequels until recent years.

Atlantis: Milo’s Return was better than Dreams Come True though, with a genuinely creepy storyline that was based off of Lovecraft’s Shadow Over Innsmouth.

To be honest this movie hit home with me. The songs all scream about Depression/Mental illness and the like. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but The Next Right Thing even starts describing depression. Then you can take the later parts to be about living in the moment and just taking a step.

I agree with most of what they pointed out in this honest trailer but I gotta be honest too.. I enjoyed this movie and its music waaayy more than the first one. I thought the scene with Christoph (or however you spell his name) alone in the woods singing like a lovesick boyband member having an LSD trip was one of the funniest things to come out of a Disney princess movie in a looong time. I nearly died laughing when the reindeer started backup singing hahaha

The animation is beautiful. The costumes they animated are beautiful. The songs? Pretty good. I’ll be honest, I’ve only heard Into The Unknown and only 3 times because I’ve avoided it carefully. Because it sounds pretty I don’t need it to be ruined like Let It Go. Has I watched the whole movie? No. I’ve seen enough to enjoy it from afar. Why? Because I’m tired of Frozen and Moana is a better role model to follow than Elsa dammit
