This is a good scene. You can see that even though Ronan serves Thanos, he’s still a boss and used to being one. Even the way he speaks to Thanos. It’s almost as if he’s saying Thanos screwed it up, and he’s playing around. Which he is. But you get the sense Ronan is used to running his own ship. When Thanos turned his chair around saying he doesn’t take Ronan serious, you can see Ronan see that as a challenge and disrespect. He knows Thanos is more powerful but he’s so ambitious, he sees that difference in strength as temporary. At the end of the day though, Thanos is scary🤣

I remember Ronan being pretty powerful though and it took a lot to take him out man he’s not really underrated. Just remember this is Thanos. Ronan would likely clap Loki so hard in just a straight up brawl. And Loki was pretty nerfed in the MCU. His Magic was trash, like yeah dr. Strange would be better but not treat him like a toddler in a duel of magic, and he was not that physically strong compared to anyone but normal humans. Like yeah they may as well all be the same strength to “us”, but to each other, the strength differences are also huge.

Doing nothing? The man literally wiped 50% of lives on many planets, that's at least something. And also, they nerfed him in the later movies. I don't like it because if you're going to make an adaptation of a character. You should strive to at least make it accurate to some degree. Thanos in Infinity War was not Thanos. He was your stereotypical villain nowadays that claims he's doing it for the good of all people. I want to see villains that are just evil again it's been so long and this good bad guy trend is killing me.

So, I know this might be a bit of a stretch, but I have a theory. At 0:13 you see Nebula's surprise about Gamora having different intentions for the orb. In GOTG 2, Nebula tells Gamora, "you left me there while you stole that stone for yourself" - showing that, in this scene here, she's feeling betrayed by Gamora. At first I thought, 'yeah that was a bit of a crap move Gamora' HOWEVER I think I know why she didn't tell Nebula her real plans, after seeing them together in Endgame. You can clearly see they're both on the same page before Thanos arrives - they both don't want Thanos to get all of the stones. Just as Thanos arrives Gamora opens her mouth to say something, and I feel like she may have been about to tell Nebula what she was secretly going to do. But as soon as Thanos comes in and gives them a task, it sends Nebula into competitive mode due to her desperate need to make him proud of her, which Gamora notices and chooses not to tell Nebula as she would probably rat her out to Thanos and get her in trouble in order to one-up her. EDIT: In fact think that's why Nebula tries to kill Gamora in the first film, because she's angry at Gamora for leaving her. In Endgame she didn't seem to want to kill Gamora at all (except at the very end but I sensed some hesitation there anyways).

I still like this design of Thanos much more than the Infinity War and Endgame one. He looks terrific with that purple colour and those shiny purple eyes. Then his no body part apart from his wrists and face is visible in his armor making it look more tough and durable. And finally this design is much more comic accurate compared to the later one. I wish he wasn't redesigned.
